Runner-up on debut at Newmarket, the latter found only one too good again when attempting to make the running at Yarmouth, while Pebble Island is a likely improver fitted with a tongue-strap for the first time.

MAYO COUNTY finished a respectable fourth at Lingfield last time considering she was drawn wide. Julie Camacho's inmate could prove more at home on this straight 7f, and remains unexposed on the turf. Queens Road Revue looks likely to launch a strong challenge after finishing third off this mark at Beverley last time, while Naval Academy is worthy of a second glance having eased in the ratings.

A comfortable winner on her return at Doncaster last month, AMAYRETTO could have more improvement forthcoming and she can follow up off 4lb higher from a good draw in stall three. Not beaten far in a valuable handicap at York last time out and narrowly denied behind a progressive sort at Haydock prior to that, BOYNE LADY sets the standard and she can get off the mark at the seventh time of asking. The unexposed Angelic Bugler can follow her home on handicap debut, along with Brazilian Belle, who has run with credit on both starts this season.

SIR LOWRY'S PASS looked well ahead of the assessor when scoring comfortably at Goodwood and the form of that contest has worked out well since. A 7lb rise for the four-year-old looks manageable and he is preferred to See That Storm, who arrives on a five-timer following a taking success on his return over C&D. Approval didn't show much in a valuable handicap at Newmarket, but he is best judged on his success at Glorious Goodwood last August.

FILLY ONE pinged the lids to make every yard of the running in ready fashion at Southwell last time and now has a 9lb higher mark to contend with. If the daughter of Calyx can transfer that form to turf, she could prove difficult to beat. Staincliff made the frame in a stronger event at Newcastle in January and is an interesting contender on her first start for the Adrian Nicholls team. Mythical Phoenix is next best.

Young Fire showed a lot more when occupying the runner-up berth at Ayr on his latest outing and is likely to be thereabouts, especially with a 1lb ease in the handicap. However, JUMEIRA VISION finished a respectable fourth over an extended mile at Hamilton earlier in the month and goes off an unchanged mark. With a previous course victory further aiding his cause, the five-year-old looks the way to go. Russian Virtue is the pick of the remainder.
