UK Horse Racing Tips: Tramore

Smart hurdler GAOTH CHUIL ran a nice race on her debut over fences in Kilbeggan when chasing home a decent mare in Look To The West. She's not the biggest so the smaller fences around here should suit her well. The drop in trip would be a slight concern as she has won over as far as 2m7f. Amanha could be the danger on her chase debut. She won over timber at Navan on her penultimate outing before finding life tougher in a valuable contest at Fairyhouse last month. On hurdles ratings she'd be second best. Femme Magnifique has to be respected coming from Willie Mullins's yard but has something to prove having been pulled up twice late last year.

THE LITTLE YANK ran well when last seen at Cork in January and he looks capable of scoring off this mark. The Westerner gelding had a career high rating of 130 a few years ago and coming here off a little break he can get back to winning ways in this grade. Priory Park bounced back to form when scoring at Limerick nine days ago and has to be respected off just a 5lb higher mark. Pipers Boreen also comes here in winning form, having scored over a similar trip here last month. She is only 3lb higher but probably wants rain.

ROBIN ELITE is interesting here on his return to the racecourse. The Champs Elysees gelding ran out an easy winner of a point-to-point at Dawstown earlier this month and is tried back on the track now off a lowly mark of 77. With Anna McGuinness taking off 7lb he has a feather weight in this. Ta Se Rua sprang a 33/1 shock in a hunters chase here last month. It will be interesting to see how he fares off a mark of 93. Miners Bridge ran well over hurdles here on his penultimate outing and, off a lower mark over fences, he has to be respected.

KAINSBOURG should be hard to beat now down in class. The Doctor Dino gelding ran in some strong maiden hurdles last season and was turned over at a short price when last seen at Fairyhouse last month. He can make amends for that defeat now. Sea Of Doubt has been runner-up on her last couple of outings, including here last month, and may give him most to do. Money for the Henry de Bromhead-trained newcomer, The Store Boy, would be interesting. The Blue Bresil gelding cost 68,000 euro as a store and is out of Mares Hurdle runner-up Midnight Tour.

MAY CALL YOU BACK is interesting here back over hurdles. The Walk In The Park gelding won on his first outing for Willie Mullins when taking a handicap chase at Tipperary last July but was beaten favourite when tried over further here on his subsequent outing. Back down in trip and off a lower hurdles mark he should be good enough to land a race of this standard. Good Bye Milan ran a nice race on her return to action at Tipperary recently and could be a danger. Applejack Poet is another coming here off a placed effort and has to be on the shortlist.

SUNSET BOULEVARD is obviously one of the lesser lights in Closutton but has shown enough to give him the winning of one of these 'unplaced' maiden hurdles. The Wings Of Eagles gelding didn't run too badly when fifth in a Bellewstown bumper last month and going a bit further over a jump now may help him. Willie Mullins also runs two others in the race. On Cloud Wine was very green early on at Killarney and may be capable of better. The Gordon Elliott-trained Yarraman Makarrata was mid-division in handicap company last time and has to be considered in this. If he runs near his mark of 100, he'll play a big part.

The well-bred LIADAWN may be able to make a winning start here for Willie Mullins. The Jukebox Jury filly is a half-sister to a smart mare in Williamstown Dancer, who was a Grade 3 winner over hurdles for the yard a couple of years ago. Early Bird ran well when fourth in a strong bumper at Leopardstown in early March and looks the pick of those that have run. That form got a boost recently with the Mullins-trained Hello Jean, who had been third then, winning at Wexford. Tricksofthetrade ran a solid race on her 'track' debut when third at Cork and is another for the shortlist.
