Any market confidence behind March Ahead would be interesting.

Betweenthesticks struck by just under a length at Catterick last time and holds an obvious chance, but the vote goes to ETERNAL SUNSHINE. Jim Goldie's mare failed to justify favouritism when a close third at Ayr last month, but she was arguably disadvantaged by the run of the race. With more pace on offer this time around, she could be the one to beat. Willingly is another to watch out for.

SPANISH HUSTLE finished a respectable third over 1m3f here on his latest outing. The seven-year-old remains feasibly treated off his current mark and could record a fifth course success. Two Auld Pals hit the frame in this class over C&D last time and is likely to be on the premises once again, while Ebony Maw isn't out of it either.

TROPICAL ISLAND looked an improved filly when returning an impressive winner at Ripon on her reappearance. That victory was even more meritorious given she had to be switched for a clear run, and Richard Fahey's sprinter looks worth sticking with. Korker has yet to taste success over 6f, but his creditable third in a competitive handicap at York last time suggests another bold bid is likely, while Fahrenheit Seven could also prove competitive.

Shine On Brendan wasn't beaten far when third in last year's renewal and he can feature again, while Bubbles Wonky gave notice of a big run when runner-up over course and distance last month. However, INDALO has the most scope for improvement. A dual winner on the all-weather, he could have untapped potential and Roger Varian boasts an impressive strike-rate at this venue.

Having posted creditable efforts in defeat at Ayr and Carlisle since scoring at Catterick in May, SIR GARFIELD could be ready to strike on this quick turnaround. The four-year-old is due to go up 3lb for his latest second and is the one to beat. Jump The Gun arrives in good heart and may serve the most resistance to the selection, although market support for stable-debutant Northfield Lake would be interesting.

The switch to more positive tactics saw Aighear recently finish second over 2m1f at Carlisle and she warrants respect off an unchanged mark. However, reverting to 1m4f may leave the daughter of Farhh vulnerable to a rival with more speed and ARCH LEGEND tops the bill.
