BROWNSTOWN won a barrier trial at Naas last month and the third, Little Sure Shot, gave that run a boost when going close here last week. The Gavin Cromwell-trained filly is out of a juvenile winner and is from the family of smart two-year-old Beauty Crescent. Dancing Saxon is a half-sister to two winners including Dancing Gemini, who landed the Group 2 bet365 Mile at Sandown this spring, while Unforgettable Face cost 150,000 euros at the Goffs Orby Sale last autumn and is another newcomer to note along with Red Autumn. Glamazon showed promise on debut at Roscommon, while Innumerable and Sara La Belle are others to consider with previous experience.

SHAKAZIA took a nice step forward from her debut here last autumn when reappearing over a mile at Naas last month. The Johnny Murtagh-trained filly had Sindria about four lengths behind when beating all bar Sound Of Lightning and shouldn't be inconvenienced by this drop back to 7f. Lavender Breeze is a half-sister to six winners and the daughter of Kodiac, who cost 120,000 euros as a yearling, won a barrier trial at Naas last month. Eastern Peace showed promise last year including behind Bedtime Story in the Group 2 Debutante Stakes at the Curragh but needs to bounce back after disappointing at Fairyhouse last week.

FINSCEAL ANNIE won twice last year over similar trips and ran a cracker on her first turf start this year when beating all bar Free Solo in a 25-runner Curragh handicap over 7f. She may have found a mile just a shade too far in mid-division here last month. James Henry has dropped down to a competitive mark and filled third spot behind Summer Snow in that aforementioned mile event here, while Fivecromwellplace gained his only previous win over this trip and was an encouraging third at Fairyhouse last time. Hugo's Girl had three subsequent winners behind when third at the Curragh last month, while any rain would boost the chance of Racing Royalty.

COMANCHE BRAVE won a Cork maiden last year and made a bright start this term when runner-up to subsequent French Guineas winner Henri Matisse in a Group 3 over C&D. He was far from disgraced when fifth to Field Of Gold in the Irish 2,000 Guineas and should appreciate this drop back to 7f. Mutasarref's four course wins include this Group 3 last year and the seven-year-old is holding his form well as evidenced by two placed runs here this season. There is little to choose between Copacabana Sands and One Smack Mac on running at Naas last month, while Royal Zabeel and Cowardofthecounty are others to consider.

Last seen in Listed company at the Curragh on Guineas weekend, MASOUN should appreciate this return to calmer waters. A dual winner when in the care of Johnny Murtagh and purchased by current connections for 105,000 euros, he wasn't beaten far when fourth on his penultimate start. A place ahead of the selection on that occasion, Lady Lunette has since disappointed at Gowran, but as a course and distance winner it would come as no surprise if she were able to bounce back. Tipperary winner The Real Screamer, Expound, who seeks a hat-trick having been successful under both codes recently, and UK import Beauty Generation are all sure to have plenty of supporters. It'll be interesting to see how San Aer fares too, after he finished a never-nearer fifth of 18 on his most recent start at the Curragh.

It might be worth taking a chance on TISCOMMONKNOWLEDGE in this fiercely competitive affair. A solid fourth on her return to action here last month, first-time cheekpieces could spark some improvement. Tachos went up 7lb for winning over this course and distance last week, although Sam Coen is able to negate that rise with his claim. Sure to have plenty of supporters, it would come as no surprise if the Dermot Weld-trained four-year-old were to go close. Summer Snow and Thrifty Of Digby are others bidding to back up recent wins, and it will be interesting to see how handicap debutant Shaool fares. A beaten-favourite on her penultimate start at Roscommon, cheekpieces are now deployed.

Down to a career low mark of 59, EL BELLO might be able to defy top-weight in this competitive affair. Third on his two starts at the Curragh earlier this season, he did well to finish seventh when drawn widest of all on his penultimate outing. While disappointing at Listowel latest, he could redeem himself. Harbanaker and Saxon Kingdom are both bidding to follow up on their recent wins, with the former successful over course and distance from 5lb lower in April. Beaten by a neck in a 20-runner Naas contest last time, Roderick is sure to have plenty of supporters with Shane Foley aboard, while others for the shortlist are Starting Monday and three-time course and distance winner Smaoineamh Sile.

DOLCE FAR NIENTE appeared to win with a bit in hand when able to shed the maiden tag at Fairyhouse on Friday. She must shoulder a penalty for that success, but the daughter of Zoffany still looks competitively handicapped. Deuteronomy was another to belatedly get off the mark recently and a subsequent 7lb rise should be no barrier to further success for the Robbie Burns-trained six-year-old. A runner-up on her second start in handicap company, Academe is open to further improvement, while Famous Enough, Cleopatra's Needle, Still She Blooms and Sayfa Fad are others to consider.
