IN MY TEENS ran with plenty of promise to finish second on her racecourse debut at Gowran at the start of the month and an extra couple of furlongs should pose no concern, especially given her dam's exploits on the racetrack as a dual Grade 1 winner over hurdles. Diamond Exchange is expected to benefit from dropping back in trip after tackling 1m4f at the Curragh, while Avant Nous and Two For Joy are both open to a fair amount of improvement.
Prediction : 1st In My Teens 2nd Diamond Exchange 3rd Avant Nous

ANGELO PIO had the measure of Alba Chiara (second) in a C&D maiden last month and although the latter is 3lb better off in this handicap, Joseph O'Brien's colt can confirm his superiority en route to further success. Edergole's Angel is more exposed than most of these, but she has been running well in defeat of late and a first-time visor could elicit some improvement. Others to note include Camevere and Paddydaddy.
Prediction : 1st Angelo Pio 2nd Alba Chiara 3rd Edergoles Angel

Cala Bonita won nicely at Gowran, but has been raised 7lb and has a bit to prove over this trip. Palmezzano warrants respect on his second at Navan and could pose a threat if fully recovered from whatever ailed him at Leopardstown subsequently, but a chance is taken on LETIZA. She placed off similar marks towards the end of last year and Henry de Bromhead's daughter of Holy Roman Emperor will be sharper for her recent comeback run.
Prediction : 1st Letiza 2nd Palmezzano 3rd Cala Bonita

Royal Entry held her own in His Majesty's Plate here and the drop in both class and trip is in her favour. Navy Waters made it third-time lucky in a C&D maiden on the same card, but SOUND OF LIGHTNING didn't really get the rub of the green on her handicap debut at Leopardstown and can take the necessary step forward from that promising fourth. Fiver Friday struggled at Gowran, but went down by a small margin in this last year.
Prediction : 1st Sound Of Lightning 2nd Royal Entry 3rd Navy Waters

In theory, Acapulco Bay should find this easier than the Group 3 and Listed races he has contested, but he must concede weight to some unexposed rivals. Precious little separated Glen To Glen and Mocking at Leopardstown back in March, although the former is also engaged at Royal Ascot. Vorfreude has kept good company in maidens, but so has KILMEADEN and his excellent Ballinrobe second to Wednesday's Queen's Vase hero Carmers means he could be really well treated off 85.
Prediction : 1st Kilmeaden 2nd Mocking 3rd Vorfreude

ARCLAND has been a revelation since joining the Gavin Cromwell yard and a 7lb rise for his most recent success at Navan over slightly further may not be enough to prevent him from going in again. Four lengths behind him on that occasion was Steps In The Sand (fifth), who is also open to more improvement with Shane Foley an eye-catching booking. A highly creditable third over shorter at Fairyhouse last time out, Jawhary could relish going back up in trip, while Billie Frechette has been a consistent sort of late under both codes.
Prediction : 1st Arcland 2nd Jawhary 3rd Steps In The Sand

First Ascent showed a good attitude when just touched off here on his third career start and is entitled to be in the mix once again. However, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if the fifth from that contest, COLPE CROSS, proved capable of reversing the form. The daughter of Le Havre finished her race off well on that debut and the step up in trip should yield improvement. Boxing Great and Arctic Bresil head the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Colpe Cross 2nd First Ascent 3rd Boxing Great
