Coup De Force is another to keep an eye on.

Nifty progressed from her introduction when third here to justify odds-on favouritism in good style at Chelmsford and is one to watch out for. However, she has a penalty and is passed over in favour of WOJTEK, who ran green when filling the runner-up spot over C&D. With that experience under his belt, he could take a big leap forward to strike. Comic Hero would have learned a lot from his seventh on debut at Bath and isn't out of it either.

Montpellier made it two wins from two starts when on target at Newbury last month. Both of those victories have come over 7f, though, and he will need to prove himself at this shorter trip. He still merits respect, but it is DARK THIRTY who shades preference. Second in a warm class 2 at York, he remains well handicapped from 1lb higher and is fancied to go one place better. Haydock scorer Kodi Lion can prove best of the remainder.

ASMEN WARRIOR has shown plenty of ability across his five career starts and this looks an excellent opportunity to break the maiden tag. A close-up fourth in a 0-95 handicap at York, dropping back into maiden company should aid his cause and first-time cheekpieces are another potential source of improvement. Wootton Bassett filly Requisite hasn't been seen since October but she will appreciate a step up in trip and must enter calculations, despite the absence. Only One Blue is also noted.

Tremorgio wasn't disgraced when finishing third in a decent class 2 novice at Southwell in April and must enter calculations on his handicap bow. However, PATSY SNUGFIT is slightly more compelling after shaping better than her fourth over 1m2f here suggests, and she may take some stopping if dictating the pace over this distance. Cape Breton might fare best of the remainder.

Too Don Juan should appreciate this return to a mile.
