British Champions Sprint hero KIND OF BLUE disappointed in a Group 3 at Chantilly on his seasonal return, but he fluffed his lines at the start and the classy Blue Point colt will take all the beating if able to bounce back. Blinkered for the first time following a lacklustre performance in the John Of Gaunt, Alyanaabi is another on something of a retrieval mission but he remains of interest, as does progressive handicapper Ferrous, who boasts an excellent record on the all-weather (five wins from seven starts).

Godsend went from strength to strength last season before returning to record a comfortable success in a three-runner contest at Nottingham last month. He's 7lb higher but should give punters another good run for their money, although it is CONTACTO who shades preference. Andrew Balding's charge kept on well into fourth at Goodwood on his reappearance, when just behind a subsequent winner. He is able to compete from an unchanged mark and, with more to come over staying trips, should go close. Others to note include Humble Spark, Weddell Sea and Tryfan.

Last year's hero Onesmoothoperator has a 12lb higher rating to contend with, but he has every chance of retaining his crown after his fifth in a Grade 2 at Meydan in March. Dancing In Paris finished a close third behind subsequent Royal Ascot winner French Master at Goodwood and is noted, but ZANNDABAD looks the way to go. The six-year-old made the frame in the Chester Cup last year and is just 1lb higher now. His seventh at the Curragh earlier in month is likely to have put him spot-on and he can take this valuable prize.

Rare Change has gone from strength to strength since being gelded, scoring in three out of his last four starts. However, with all of those victories coming on turf, he is passed over for the returning CITY WALK. The eight-year-old was successful by two lengths off a 1lb lower rating at Chelmsford when last seen on these shores and he has since struck in handicap company at Meydan. With the Saeed bin Suroor yard in good form, he gets the vote. Native Warrior sports a first-time visor and is another to keep an eye on.

Ninth Crusade was odds-on to make a winning introduction and duly obliged by half a length at Wolverhampton earlier in the month, and the booking of Jamie Spencer catches the eye. Veiled Truth is likely to build on his debut third at Hamilton, but the vote goes to SANDS OF SPAIN. The son of Sands Of Mali progressed from his first outing to score by a neck at Carlisle and will have plenty more to offer.

A rejuvenated LENNY'S SPIRIT has won both starts on the turf at Lingfield since joining Denis Quinn's yard. The seven-year-old looked to score with plenty up his sleeve last week and he can effectively race off a 2lb lower mark with Warren Fentiman's allowance taken into account. Haliphon has been threatening a return to winning ways having eased in the weights and he merits consideration, while the Irish raider Pralognan is worth noting with Jim Crowley taking over the reins.

The consistent Freddy Robinson still looks a shade high in the weights and usually finds at least one too good, whereas TEE AITCH AYE has plenty of scope off his current mark, having finished an encouraging third at Carlisle on his handicap debut. Iain Jardine's charge has untapped potential over this longer trip and a strong challenge is anticipated. Secret Rock and Spiced Rum also warrant respect.
