UK Horse Racing Tips: Newton Abbot

ISLE OF SARK has been in decent form on the Flat since joining Tony Carroll's yard back in April. He finished third at Bangor when last seen over hurdles and looks to have a good opportunity to get his head in front back in this discipline. Linden Lane ran well for second here in May and is noted, but Rubys Legacy has shown little to recommend him so far.

KEEL STRAND has shown progressive form since undergoing a wind operation and won here on his handicap debut 10 days ago to land a double at the track. Paul Nicholls' charge is hard to oppose as the hat-trick beckons. Stinginhisstep also won over these hurdles in May, though he will need to improve further upped 6lb, so the Chepstow winner Impecunious may prove a bigger threat.

Dancingontheedge won a division of this contest last year, though has shown little in the way of progress since then. It would be no surprise to see her bounce back, but KENMYA makes most appeal. Dan Skelton's mare got her act together over hurdles when narrowly defeated at Bangor on her second start in a handicap. The third has subsequently franked that form and she looks capable of winning off her current mark. Our Pink Lady looks best of the rest.

SHILLANAVOGY could not have done it any easier when scoring over slightly further at Cartmel in May, and a 6lb rise for that success may not be enough to stop him from going in again. A determined winner here over hurdles recently, Feel The Pinch is likely to be thereabouts on his return to chasing, while Nevendon cannot be overlooked either.

It may have only been a two-runner race that SEEYOUINMYDREAMS was successful in last time out, but she did so in taking fashion and dropping in trip should not inconvenience her as she looks to make it three wins from her last four starts. A career-best second over C&D last time out when a mistake four from home and hanging left approaching the last probably cost him, BACKINACTION remains unexposed over fences and a 1lb rise could prove lenient as he looks to go one better.
