ANASHHAD and Crest of Fire boast similar profiles and are suggested as the pair to focus on. The latter built on his Newbury debut to finish second to a colt of huge potential in a decent-looking novices' event at York a fortnight ago. He should have lots more to offer. However, Roger Varian's colt showed distinct promise on his introduction - also on the Knavesmire - and already looks ready for tackling this additional yardage. Stepping up a furlong looks a perfect fit for the son of Mohaather at this stage. Mogbbel and Titanck are interesting newcomers to consider.
Prediction : 1st Anashhad 2nd Crest of Fire 3rd Mogbbel

HAATEM's success in the Wolferton over 1m2f at Royal Ascot carries substance and having also won last year's Craven Stakes at Newmarket, this versatile colt shouldn't have much of an issue with dropping back to a mile. Fellow Royal-meeting winner My Cloud is an obvious threat having worked his way towards a crack at this level with four successive wins, culminating with the Hunt Cup last month. This is more of an acid test, but he should still go well. Quddwah and the impressive Buckingham Palace winner Never So Brave are others with solid credentials.
Prediction : 1st Haatem 2nd My Cloud 3rd Quddwah

Armed with a 13lb weight-for-age allowance and the potential to make good progress now he steps up to 1m6f, TREMORGIO is very tempting on these terms. Assuming he handles the stalls better than he did at Salisbury on his handicap debut last month, the son of Dubawi can readily build on that second-placed finish to a now 89-rated opponent. Creatif and Clockmaker are suggested as the main threats to the selection, although it would be dangerous to underestimate the front-running La Pulga, who is on a winning mark and can make this a searching test.
Prediction : 1st Tremorgio 2nd Creatif 3rd Clockmaker

ORANGE SKY made a strong impression when scoring on her handicap debut at Newmarket last month and now has a 8lb higher rating to contend with. The daughter of No Nay Never looks to have lots in her favour and can continue her progression. Chiringita boasts a similar profile after making her first start in a handicap a victorious one at Sandown and she could have a say, despite being 5lb higher. Star Of Dubai is the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Orange Sky 2nd Chiringita 3rd Star Of Dubai

NIGHT BREEZE made the frame in this class at Haydock on his latest outing and competes off the same rating. The five-year-old has a previous C&D victory to his name which aids his cause further and he will prove very tough to beat. Crystal Flyer struck in a handicap at Southwell before finding Group 3 company too much of an ask at York last time, but she might be worth another chance. Mount Atlas completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Night Breeze 2nd Crystal Flyer 3rd Mount Atlas

A competitive event in which preference is afforded to REDORANGE. The lightly-raced three-year-old produced a career best performance to finish third in the Palace Of Holyroodhouse over C&D last month, an effort for which he was subsequently raised 4lb. Clive Cox's charge has scope for further progress and could have too much for the likes of Holkham Bay, who drops in trip having finished a close-up fourth in the Wokingham latest. Others to note include Existent and Toca Madera.
Prediction : 1st Redorange 2nd Holkham Bay 3rd Existent

Three-year-olds have won two of the previous renewals and that record could be enhanced further courtesy of TOKYO JOE. Ed Walker's colt didn't quite see out the mile at Southwell latest but the drop in trip should suit along with a switch to handicaps, while his penultimate effort would suggest an opening mark of 78 is lenient. War Howl recorded a comfortable success at Doncaster a fortnight ago and is respected from 6lb higher, along with Angel Of Rain, who didn't get the clearest of runs when third at the Town Moor venue last time.
Prediction : 1st Tokyo Joe 2nd War Howl 3rd Angel Of Rain
