Spirit Of Eagles has dropped to an attractive mark and enters calculations on her second at Down Royal last time. Mark's One has been far from disgraced in two outings for the Clearys this term, while the veteran Tynamite has gained all six career wins at Dundalk but ran a cracker over a mile here last month.

ANGELIGHT may have been undone by the combination of soft ground and an extended 1m1f at Gowran last time and a reproduction of her previous close fourth over a mile at Naas may be good enough. The form of that race has been working out quite well and she is now fitted with blinkers. Marlborough Place made a pleasing debut when third to Cold Hearted at the Curragh last month and the benefit of that experience plus this step up in trip should see him go close. Raykir has posted three consistent runs and, like the selection, connections now reach for headgear.

KATIE ROSS has joined Gavin Cromwell this season and spoiled her chance by running too freely when reappearing here last month before not enjoying much luck in running at Down Royal. She finished well to take fifth behind The Bog Bank and is bred to appreciate this longer trip. Oiche Rua caused a 33/1 shock when scoring at Bellewstown last week, with Shahada Ace nearly four lengths behind in third, while Jasmine Affanalis is another to consider on her staying on second to In The Minus over 7f here last month.

FLORESTA took a nice step forward from her debut at Dundalk when staying on strongly into third behind Delta over 1m4f at Fairyhouse. Johnny Murtagh's team are in good form as evidenced by a treble at Fairyhouse on Wednesday and she probably has most to fear from Tenoya, who has been prominent throughout when placed on both outings over 1m4f. Fitzroy Gardens and Monntie both finished well on debut and could improve significantly with that experience under their belt.

SLIEVE BEARNAGH has won five times and the dual-purpose gelding has been placed twice on the Flat this year including over a similar trip here in April. He doesn't have too many secrets from the handicapper at this stage of his career but looks sure to give a good account. Stepdance carries a 7lb penalty after winning at Tramore on Tuesday, while Jurality has shown promise on a number of occasions this year and Nicola Burns is a positive booking. Together Aclaim often loses ground at the start but overcame that tendency to score over 1m2f at Cork on his penultimate start.

WOODSHAW WHISPER made a winning start for Ger Lyons when justifying favouritism in a Dundalk maiden over an extended 1m2f and the form of his subsequent third to Starford at Gowran has worked out very well since. He should be suited by this step up in trip. Riding arrangements suggest Waterford Flow is the pick of Joseph O'Brien's pair, and he came home well from off the pace in an ultra-competitive handicap at Royal Ascot last time. Camevere has shown promise at Dundalk and was far from disgraced when fourth behind Angelo Pio on her handicap debut at Down Royal last month.
