L'Eagle Aid is looking for his hat-trick here after a neck win at Newcastle before dead-heating (awarded the race) at Chester, but he has 3lb more to carry now and steps up two classes. KILDARE LEGEND made all before being caught to go under by a neck at Haydock and although he also has an added 3lb, he drops a grade which may see him try the same tactics and go one better. Chillingham and Intinso are others to consider.

Cosmos Raj and Bellarchi are high on the shortlist after both won last time out, while Tele Red is a previous C&D winner with solid claims off 4lb below his last successful rating. However, there is also a lot to like about the credentials held by MUDAMER, who is handily drawn and notably had last year's winner of this race (Theme Park) a couple of places behind when he finished third at Pontefract last week. Yaajooz and Siam Fox are also each-way options.

After readily justifying favouritism in a 0-62 handicap at Brighton, the son of Kodi Bear was promoted from second to first following a trouble run at Leicester a fortnight later. The hat-trick was readily completed at Epsom most recently. Given his sire and dam were both 7f winners, stepping him up in trip to extend the wining run seems logical. Golden Redemption, Brave Byreflection and Lever Up could fight this out if another 6lb rise hinders the selection.
