UK Horse Racing Tips: Naas

NIGHT MAGIC looks capable of improving on her second handicap outing. The Too Darn Hot filly met some trouble in running when third to Highbury See See at Gowran Park in mid-June. She is tried in cheekpieces now and should be up to winning a race off a mark of 65. Lady Pagasa ran well on her return when third at Killarney last month and may benefit for dropping back slightly in trip. Star Mind didn't appear to get home over a mile and a half at Tramore, but was runner-up over this sort of trip at Roscommon previously and is a contender on that form.

THEREWILLBEGLORY ran a cracker on her debut at the Curragh and can go one better with that experience under her belt. The Cotai Glory filly came to lead over a furlong from home before getting pipped late on by Shelbiana. Her rider reported that she hung left throughout so going left-handed may help. Guarded sets the standard with a mark of 79, but she is pretty exposed at this stage and may be vulnerable to an improver. The 77-rated Noli Timere is another with solid placed form who has to be on the shortlist.

GREEN SENSE, winner of the Prix Robert Papin at Chantilly last month, looks the one they all have to beat. The daughter of Starman prevailed by a neck in the Group 2 contest in France and her form is obviously very strong. She has the most weight of any filly in this, but her class can see her through. There is a good English representation and Front Line Fury, narrowly defeated when bidding for a hat-trick at Ascot last month, looks like a leading contender. Colin Keane sides with Howd'yadoit from the three Ger Lyons runners and he's another who is respected.

LETIZA may be able to follow up her win at Down Royal in June. The Holy Roman Emperor mare finished off strongly to chase down Dancing Steve when a well-backed favourite. The runner-up has won since and a 6lb rise doesn't look harsh. Zipster also comes here in winning form, having scored at Killarney last month. He got 5lb for that victory and should be competitive again. Molto Amichi has been knocking on the door and ran into an improver in Onemoredance at Leopardstown last time. He could be place material.
