Flat winners Roman Harry and River Derwent also enter calculations.

NED IN THE PARK can reverse recent course form with We're Back Again. Sent off favourite on that occasion, the Tim Doyle-trained gelding was still in contention when badly hampered after the second last. But for that interference, he may well have finished ahead of the Patrick Griffin-trained runner-up. The aforementioned We're Back Again is entitled to improve sufficiently from that promising debut effort to be the main danger. If none the worse for his recent fall at Down Royal, bumper winner Big Dee should also be competitive.

Runner-up here over fences last month, INTHENICKOFTIME can exploit a lower rating back over hurdles. A winner at Wexford last year, the Enda Bolger-trained five-year-old has shaped with plenty of promise on three starts over the larger obstacles and he appears to have been found an ideal opportunity to record the second win of his career. Killarney chase winner Smallcraftwarning also has to be of interest back over hurdles. Recent scorers Adaliz and Mister Vic are both worthy of consideration.

FOXY GIRL has been lightly-raced and frustrating to follow since scoring back in December 2022 but has shown useful chase form on recent runs and is suited by soft ground. Her old hurdles form was useful and while she has been beaten in four chases, bumped into some capable types in those races and is suited by this distance. Maidenstreetprince will also handle an ease and ran well in a good handicap at Killarney last month. Fiveonefive is also noted.

STILY has shown improved form over hurdles recently and might score on his chase debut. From Kauto Star's family, the selection has run consistently well in recent handicap hurdles and could progress further. Zolpharine is more exposed but goes well for this 7lb claimer and is suited by conditions. Burru disappointed at Wexford last month but had previously run well here in June.

JEU DE PIC is a 12-race maiden but ran well in a similar race last month and should cope with softening ground. The selection has been frustrating in his career thus far but nonetheless had useful hurdle runs last summer and, on his second chase start at Killarney, he bumped into a nicely handicapped winner, with Meehall finishing third. Western Model is noted too.

RIPSNORTER's yard has been doing very well in bumpers and he performed well for third last month. Well beaten on debut, he attracted support at Killarney where he finished ahead of fourth-placed Maskarvel, who finished second at Galway last week. Boo Radley represents top connections and is respected. Barrys Spirit hails from an excellent family stretching back to Flame Of Tara and he should also be taken seriously.
