However, Dereham's Newmarket success is a stronger piece of form and a 6lb rise looks very manageable. Regally Blonde and Wilderness complete the shortlist.

CONCERT was a very promising second on her debut at Newbury and should be a good deal wiser. William Haggas won this race 12 months ago and can follow up with this daughter of Showcasing now she has some experience. Zighy is shortlisted after also filling the runner-up slot when introduced over 5f here last month. Enha, Coconut Cove and Halloween Lady are nicely-bred debutants to monitor in the betting.

SINJ boasts some respectable form and although she has been expensive to follow, the daughter of Too Darn Hot has generally been consistent and could step forward for a first career success. Elara May is heading in the right direction and is another appealing option on her nursery debut. Similar comments apply to Acceptance, London Is Blue and No Way Hozay.

The son of Camacho sets the standard with an official rating of 82, but it may pay to side with FOREVER PENYWERN. William Haggas' charge has shown ability in both of his career starts, most recently finishing third at Beverley, and this step up in trip could work the oracle. Playtime warrants a market check on his return from a long absence.

Marcus finished a close third in this class at Nottingham on his latest outing and is likely to be thereabouts, but VICTORS DREAM gets the vote. Marco Botti's five-year-old could only manage fourth at Southwell in June, but the return to turf, along with Curtis Wilson-Ruddock claiming a handy 7lb, might see him in a different light. Global Effort is another to consider.
