A major improver from first to second start when scoring comfortably over C&D last month, CROWN OF LIGHT is likely to have more to offer and can go in again under a 7lb penalty, with William Buick a notable booking. Five Ways shaped with promise when fourth on debut at Newbury and may enter calculations along with the well-bred Noble Vow, who hails from a yard that knows how to ready one first time out.
Prediction : 1st Crown Of Light 2nd Five Ways 3rd Noble Vow

Now that the penny has dropped for GLADIADORA after a taking success at Bath earlier in the month, Joe Tickle's charge should be able to handle a return to handicap company. A highly creditable second on the step up to this trip at Doncaster last month, Flag Carrier must be a leading contender, as well as Sunny Corner, who has dropped back to a mark just 1lb higher than his last success.
Prediction : 1st Gladiadora 2nd Flag Carrier 3rd Sunny Corner

A major eye-catcher despite trouble in running when staying on strongly to almost land the Vintage Stakes at Glorious Goodwood, MORRIS DANCER should relish a step up to 1m.. Narrowly denied himself in Listed company at Ascot last month and with an entry in the Champagne Stakes next month, course-winner A Bit Of Spirit is likely to give the selection plenty to think about. Hailing from a yard that has been excellent with it's two-year-old's this year, Mystic Moment may also have a say.
Prediction : 1st Morris Dancer 2nd A Bit Of Spirit 3rd Mystic Moment

Palio Di Siena finished second in each of his three starts in maiden/novice company prior to being well held on his handicap debut at Wolverhampton last time. He sets the standard with an official rating of 75, but MAGIC BOY looks the one to be on. The son of Acclamation took a step forward from his first run to fill the runner-up spot at Ripon in June and with a similar display, he will prove hard to beat. Jennifer Wren is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Magic Boy 2nd Palio Di Siena 3rd Jennifer Wren

REVOIR failed to live up to market expectations when only fifth in this class at York last month, but she sets the standard for others to aim at. Ralph Beckett's filly is likely to have more to offer on just her fifth career appearance and can find the improvement required to strike. Azaniya is unbeaten this year, most recently scoring by just under a length on her handicap bow at Windsor, and she is an improver to keep an eye on. Wujjood is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Revoir 2nd Azaniya 3rd Wujjood

Offiah's Boy is bidding to make it three wins from his last four starts after his success at Bath last time, but he is 3lb higher, so this requires a career-best. With that in mind, MREMBO gets the vote. Jonathan Portman's mare finished a close second at Sandown on her latest outing and the handicapper might have been kind to leave her mark alone for that effort. Fillyfudge is another to watch out for.
Prediction : 1st Mrembo 2nd Offiahs Boy 3rd Fillyfudge
