Palio Di Siena finished second in each of his three starts in maiden/novice company prior to being well held on his handicap debut at Wolverhampton last time. He sets the standard with an official rating of 75, but MAGIC BOY looks the one to be on. The son of Acclamation took a step forward from his first run to fill the runner-up spot at Ripon in June and with a similar display, he will prove hard to beat. Jennifer Wren is another to consider.

Ralph Beckett's filly is likely to have more to offer on just her fifth career appearance and can find the improvement required to strike. Azaniya is unbeaten this year, most recently scoring by just under a length on her handicap bow at Windsor, and she is an improver to keep an eye on. Wujjood is another to note.

Fillyfudge is another to watch out for.
