The latter faced a tougher test at Goodwood a fortnight ago and he'll appreciate the likely fast ground, while Dark Alley is making rapid strides and left a good impression when scoring easily at Bath.

The son of Night Of Thunder represents last year's winning connections and an entry in next month's Champagne Stakes at Doncaster suggests he could make a bold bid at the first time of asking.

Rod Millman's filly supplemented her third in a Listed event at Sandown with a ready win in a maiden at the same venue 21 days ago and is feared most, ahead of Daneh Of Dandy.

However, MYTHICAL COMPOSER looks worth another go over today's distance on quicker ground. The Clive Cox-trained colt appeared to find his stamina stretched in underfoot conditions on his latest third at Newmarket and this flatter track should suit. Forever My Prince is also worth a second look.
