One of three Eoin McCarthy-trained representatives in the line-up, WHOLELOTOFBUSINESS sets the standard boasting a rating of 112. Beaten by just half a length at this venue in May, he has performed with credit on recent starts at Sligo and Cork. McCarthy also saddles Fast Felix and Tinking Man, with both capable of making their presence felt. Point-to-point winners Whitewinewednesday, Welcome Back and Val Venus all warrant respect too.
Prediction : 1st Wholelotofbusiness 2nd Fast Felix 3rd Whitewinewednesday

A weak affair, with Eoin McCarthy again well represented. The Limerick handler saddles BALLINOE BLAZE and Tropical Image, with the 94-rated former the selection. Tried in first-time cheekpieces, the Affinisea five-year-old has some good efforts to his name and was a solid fourth in a stronger contest over the course and distance on his latest start. Gaoithe Glory and Boola Times are the most interesting of the six handicap debutants in the line-up. The Eric McNamara-trained former was second on debut in a bumper at Listowel last September.
Prediction : 1st Ballinoe Blaze 2nd Gaoithe Glory 3rd Boola Times

Eoin McCarthy is yet again strongly represented, saddling three. Placed on three of her last four starts, Regards To Rose is sure to have plenty of supporters on her first try in handicap company. No worse than fourth on five visits to this venue, GENERAL CLERMONT is the selection. Gekkota is another to consider closely following a decent fourth at Tramore.
Prediction : 1st General Clermont 2nd Regards To Rose 3rd Gekkota

DREAM ON BABY had a nice pipe-opener when second on the level at Tramore last weekend and, back over flights now, she can be expected to go close on what will be her first try in handicap company. The highest-rated runner in the line-up, she's proven at this trip and will be ridden by Conor Clarke, who claims a valuable 7lb. Tackling this distance for the first time, Say It So is an interesting contender, along with Sequoiaspirit.
Prediction : 1st Dream On Baby 2nd Say It So 3rd Sequoiaspirit

While they both failed to make an impact in the Galway Hurdle, DOWNMEXICOWAY and Addragoole look the ones to focus on as they start off over the larger obstacles. The Henry de Bromhead-trained former won a point-to-point in 2023 and looks the one to be on. Returning from a break, Hashtag Pretender is an interesting contender. A model of consistency, he made the breakthrough over flights at Gowran in October last year and there could be more to come.
Prediction : 1st Downmexicoway 2nd Addragoole 3rd Hashtag Pretender

Turnpike Trip had a tough race when winning the valuable Galway Blazers during the Festival at Ballybrit, but has had over three weeks off since then. He rallied well to get up by a length and a half over an extended 2m6f and it was noteworthy as it was the 11-year-old's first time over the trip. DIGBY didn't fire in that race and unseated two out but was in a good vein of form before it, with victories at Bangor and Ballinrobe and a close second in Uttoxeter. He can bounce back. Boston Rover is going the right way for Gordon Elliott and did score in Roscommon on just his second start over fences, while Dark Note is capable of a bold show.
Prediction : 1st Digby 2nd Boston Rover 3rd Turnpike Trip

BIRDIE OR BUST has plenty going for her in this Listed handicap chase. She probably ran as well as could be expected in fourth in a Grade 3 novice chase at Galway and, just three runs back, won a mares' beginners chase by seven lengths over C&D. She looks the pick of Henry de Bromhead's four runners with Darragh O'Keeffe in the plate. Stablemate Coming Up Easy is rocketing up the weights after victories in Limerick and Cork. He's up another 7lb, but still warrants attention. Sea Music, who was fifth in the Galway Plate, ought to acquit himself well in this company.
Prediction : 1st Birdie Or Bust 2nd Coming Up Easy 3rd Sea Music

GALILEO SAND is progressing with racing and made the breakthrough over slightly further at this track last month, with the third franking the form when obliging in Roscommon. There is plenty of Flat speed in his pedigree and Patrick Mullins is an eyecatching replacement for the suspended John Gleeson. Themanintheanorak was very good in winning by six lengths at Listowel and that form also received a boost when the runner-up came out and won by a wide margin at Wexford. He could be a tough nut to crack. Papanell could improve from an opening fourth in a Galway bumper.
Prediction : 1st Galileo Sand 2nd Themanintheanorak 3rd Papanell
