The key to this race could be the clash at Nottingham between GREAT MATES (second) and Invisible (third), with Michael Wigham's filly taken to get off the mark on this occasion. Bella's Path offered encouragement when fourth at Windsor, while Crystal Dagger has been runner-up on both career outings so has to go on the shortlist.

Clive Cox's colt takes a step up in distance and an opening mark of 82 could prove to be lenient. AL KHAWSSAA appreciated the application of a first-time hood when filling the runner-up spot in this class over track and trip and Roger Varian's filly might only need to reproduce that level of form in order to defy her 2lb rise. Signcastle City made the frame over a mile at Chelmsford and lurks on an appealing rating, while Warm Spell is another to keep an eye on.
