Placed in strong juvenile maidens on both hurdling starts last season, MONEY DANCER then went back on the Flat and ran well in a couple of early-season handicaps. Noel Meade's filly is now fitted with a hood, which should help her to settle and get home at this stiff track. Dual Flat winner Deed Pole ran his best race over hurdles at Tramore last time and can progress further. Firebrand holds a similar Flat rating to the selection and was second in a Roscommon maiden hurdle last month.
Prediction : 1st Money Dancer 2nd Deed Pole 3rd Firebrand

HUDSON showed ability on the Flat in France and may now be coming to hand in this discipline. Ellmarie Holden's grey was nearest at the finish when third on handicap debut at Kilbeggan and the stiffer finish here may compensate for dropping back in trip. Kotkito Bello was another to show up well on handicap debut when third over C&D last month. He gave it a good go from the front on that occasion and can progress. Desert Haven was only narrowly foiled at Down Royal and is also noted.
Prediction : 1st Hudson 2nd Kotkito Bello 3rd Desert Haven

The market suggested RUN FOR OSCAR would come on for the run at Killarney, when he was a respectable fifth in a useful staying contest on the Flat. That was an encouraging effort after a long layoff and the talented dual-purpose performer was in good form in similar conditions events over hurdles this time last year. HMS Seahorse won well on his last start over hurdles and is fairly treated at the weights. Custom Taylor completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Run For Oscar 2nd Hms Seahorse 3rd Custom Taylor

SHANNON BANK may improve for stepping up markedly in trip after a respectable showing on handicap debut at Sligo. Gavin Cromwell's runner had placed form in bumpers at up to 2m4f, ran well here on debut and handles easy ground. Doyen Flyer (second) had Moonshine Girl (fourth) behind when just denied a breakthrough win over this trip at Ballinrobe. That was her second start after a break and she can contend again if coming forward from that outing. Another to note is Lough Nigara.
Prediction : 1st Shannon Bank 2nd Doyen Flyer 3rd Lough Nigara

ANYSIGNOFHIM probably did too much early last time when sent off favourite at Ballinrobe. He produced a nice run at the same track previously, when he finished a staying on third, and there looks to be a race in him off this kind of mark. Gortmore Lady has been placed a couple of times this summer at Downpatrick and, off the same mark as last time, she's entitled to play a role. Sporting Glance is one to note on his handicap debut.
Prediction : 1st Anysignofhim 2nd Gortmore Lady 3rd Sporting Glance

ROCKY'S DIAMOND should prove a cut above if taking to fences. Declan Queally's gelding mixed it in top company last season, winning the Grade 2 Galmoy Hurdle before a fine effort to finish fourth in the Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham. He ended the season with a mark of 154 and he's an exciting prospect. My Great Mate has a chase outing under his belt and is the obvious danger. Waterford Whispers was thrown in at the deep end in Grade 1 company when last seen and is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Rockys Diamond 2nd My Great Mate 3rd Waterford Whispers

ARCTIC GALE looks capable of winning over fences off this mark. He won a beginners chase at Tipperary in July and is still unexposed over fences after just two runs. Top-weight Sea Aster ran well when third last time at Kilbeggan. She stays well and could be in the mix-up again. Spellacy's Cross has a nice low weight and could be place material.
Prediction : 1st Arctic Gale 2nd Sea Aster 3rd Spellacys Cross

19:22 Galway

Willie Mullins is obviously always the starting point in bumpers and RUNAWAY ROSIE may be good enough to make a winning debut. The well-bred Run For Power is another debutant to note. The Ocovango mare is a half-sister to smart dual-purpose performer Run For Oscar. Riverwoods showed improvement on her second outing when runner-up in a Wexford maiden hurdle and is another for the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Runaway Rosie 2nd Run For Power 3rd Riverwoods
