With the news that Time For Sandals is already on her winter break and that Sprint Cup winner Big Mojo is unlikely to run only eight days later, this race looks a good opportunity for an antepost recommendation.
Bucanero Fuerte (best priced at 7/1) has a superb record at the Curragh in his career winning four of his previous six starts including a comfortable 1 ¼ length victory over 6f last time. An impressive 2 ¾ length winner on his debut over this 5f trip, he followed up with a Group 2 victory in the Railway Stakes and a Group 1 victory over Porta Fortuna in the Phoenix Stakes by four lengths.

The Adrian Murray trained four-year-old has won on his reappearance for the previous two years but followed up his victory last time with a victory in the Group 3 Phoenix Sprint Stakes when Kind Of Blue was back in third. That rival has gone on to finish a close 2nd in the Sprint Cup at the weekend to boost the form and Bucanero Fuerte hits the five main trends for the race.
