INDEFENSIBLE finished a creditable third at Newcastle last time. That form looks stronger in hindsight, given he had a subsequent dual winner back in fourth, and Ollie Pears's inmate could launch another strong challenge. A resolute fourth at Chepstow on debut, Melodical looks a likely improver and she could land a blow, while Mystical Eye is related to a couple of winning sprinters and is a newcomer to note.

The James Tate stable can do little wrong at present, and this appeals as an ideal opportunity for GREY JAGUAR to get off the mark following a strong runner-up effort at Southwell most recently. Second on each of his last two starts, and with Hollie Doyle booked now, Shamacid is entitled to be thereabouts again, as well as the recently gelded Proud To Be Fox.

A winner of two of his last four starts over C&D, and a respectable third here earlier in the month, NORDIC GLORY gets a tentative vote in this competitive affair, despite having to overcome a wide draw. Red Walls has strong claims on his second at Ffos Las, while similar comments apply to Sarabi, who wasn't seen to best effect at Chelmsford last Thursday.

FORGLEN scored comfortably over C&D in July and a 3lb rise may not be enough to prevent him from following up with 7lb claimer Ashley Lewis returning to the saddle. A creditable third in a classified stakes at Lingfield last time out, Sneaky Blinder may improve for going back up in distance and he looks to be the main danger. Others to note include Advertorial, Kingston Sunflower and Warrior Lion.

Oisin Murphy has coaxed a good effort from Bizarre Law in the past and there is obvious appeal based on the jockey booking alone. However, the widest draw of all does that partnership no favours. One box along is Guiteau, who also needs to work hard to follow up last week's Ffos Las success under a 5lb penalty. TRIGGERED, on the other hand, has a much handier draw and this dual C&D winner is dangerous to ignore running off 16lb below his last winning mark.

HARRYELLA stands out on recent form and has a big chance of completing a hat-trick after a brace of wins over a mile at Lingfield. Oisin Murphy was in the saddle for both of those successes and another well-timed effort can be assured now the gelding steps back up in trip. Pessoa tends to go well here and can figure if his stamina holds out, while recent Yarmouth winner Stipulation reverts to the all-weather with solid claims off just 1lb higher.

JUNGLE DANCE was on the back of a 493-day absence when he finished last at Windsor. However, he showed the benefit of the run with a second-placed finish over this C&D a fortnight ago and he can make up for lost time now he is back on a winning mark. Jagetme was revived by first-time cheekpieces at Ffos Las most recently and could have another big say if swapping headgear to blinkers keeps up the momentum. Gustav Graves and course specialist Basholo also old appealing claims.
