Stamina Chope scored over C&D in 2023 off 9lb higher and deserves serious consideration, but THE WISE TRAVELLER gets the nod. With three distance wins plus one over further to his name, the nine-year-old merits plenty of respect on his return to action.

A winner at Ascot last November and third in a bumper here in April, the step up in trip looks just what he needs and he could prove to be a class above. Point-to-point fourth Whenthemusicstops is interesting ahead of his hurdling bow and he could pick up second, leaving Yarborough to follow them home.
