Only In Manila is a potential fly in the ointment on his opening bid and any market support for him would be interesting, while Exotic Baby is the pick of the remainder.

There was plenty of encouragement to be taken from DEGALE's second-placed handicap/seasonal bow at Haydock last month and he looks more than capable of scoring at this level. A switch to Tapeta shouldn't hamper the son of Due Diligence and a second career victory may beckon. Rajapour showed the benefit of a wind procedure when a close second at York a fortnight ago and is feared most, ahead of Dragon Icon.

Yellow Diamonds made the frame at Wolverhampton earlier this month and a similar performance should see her in the mix once more. However, there is a sneaking suspicion that we've yet to see the best of HYPNOTISED and this drop in distance could prove fruitful. Harry Charlton's colt has proved too keen on both outings over 6f and this emphasis on speed should suit. Capitalization is also worth a second look.

THE MAN has posted two fine displays this campaign, most recently hitting the woodwork in a hot handicap at York, and now has a 4lb higher rating to contend with. The son of Mehmas is a C&D winner to further aid his cause and could prove a tough nut to crack. The hat-trick seeking Rocking Ends is sure to have his supporters after scoring by a length at Yarmouth on his recent start and holds an obvious chance. Against The Wind and Queen's Guard are others to consider.

Equity Law made it two wins from his last three starts at Catterick earlier in the month and is noted, but the vote goes to LEVEL UP. The David Evans-trained six-year-old finished a fair third at Wolverhampton last time and was dropped 1lb. With Rossa Ryan booked and a previous C&D victory to his name, he looks the way to go. Ancient Times is in good form at present and isn't ruled out either.

Grace Angel produced a better effort to finish second at Chelmsford last month and should remain competitive, despite her 2lb higher rating. However, KNICKS made the frame in this grade at Musselburgh last week and is off an unchanged mark. The four-year-old might only need to reproduce that level of form in order to strike. Tanjen completes the shortlist.

Palazzo Blu is of interest having won on his only start over C&D. Although well beaten at Doncaster, the return to this trip and the Tapeta could see him in a better light. Great Bedwyn was far from disgraced when second at Kempton last time and he could go well, despite an added 2lb, but SURREY FIRE may be the one. He made all to come home alone at Lingfield in first-time blinkers and the same tactics might see him double up.

Bountiful is yet to recapture her better 2024 form that included a Group 2 fourth at Newmarket, but if she bounces back she would be a danger to all. Forty Years On won cosily at Ascot and may be the bigger danger to MAYBE NOT. Second in a better race at York last month and a Kempton winner over a mile, a fast-run race over this trip back on the all-weather could be just what she needs for a third career success.

SAX APPEAL was a very easy winner last time out at Kempton and will be looking for his hat-trick carrying a 5lb penalty which is negated by Archie Young's 5lb claim. Hatysa looks a serious rival from the bottom of the weights after his impressive Newcastle victory earlier in the month and is hard to ignore, leaving Zealandia as the sensible suggestion for third.
