UTMOST GOOD FAITH didn't run badly in a decent maiden at Tipperary and should be competitive in claiming company. He was around five lengths behind the fifth horse, who won a maiden on Saturday, and that makes him of interest here. A bit keen over 1m1f, this trip should suit. Idiocracy possibly found 6f a bit sharp last time, but her previous third in a Roscommon maiden makes her a leading player. Badger's Cove was a long way behind her, but is much better off at the weights and may improve for headgear. The selection's stablemate Blessings To You has run OK in both starts and is another in the mix.

PERFECT BASE was second over C&D in July and was half a length behind Tina's Charm over a slightly longer trip at Roscommon last time. Natalia Lupini's runner may improve for the fitting of cheekpieces and, despite a wide draw, might be able to turn around the form with Tina's Charm, who has since produced another solid effort at Cork. Win Me Over drops in trip having been beaten at odds-on when last seen in April. She also sports cheekpieces for the first time and the market will be a guide as to her readiness. The four-year-old Grecian Power showed plenty of promise in a Curragh maiden.

Third on his stable debut at Leopardstown last month, BOWMAN has every chance of registering a first Irish success. A nine-time previous winner, the Charles Byrnes-trained gelding showed that he is certainly capable of adding to that tally when staying on strongly to reach the frame at the Foxrock venue. Seamie Heffernan retains the ride and, granted luck in running, the seven-year-old should be very competitive. Last year's winner Loingseoir showed that he still has plenty to offer when finishing well to take minor honours at Cork. Handicap debutant Wegotogether is an unexposed filly who might be able to step up now that she has a mark.

Despite a tendency to miss the break, it could pay to side with the Sheila Lavery-trained ANVIKA. A dual previous winner, the daughter of Dandy Man ran a huge race when runner-up in a stronger contest at Leopardstown at the Irish Champions Festival. The four-year-old finished off her race well to get within two lengths of the winner and, with Sam Coen taking 7lb off her back, she looks very nicely handicapped. Luscious, who was well behind in that aforementioned race, is almost certainly capable of better. A consistent filly prior to that outing, she shouldn't be discounted. C&D winner Four Blondes is another with leading claims in a competitive affair.

Highly tried since landing his maiden here, CHICAGO CALL can resume winning ways. Far from disgraced in two starts in Group company subsequently, the Johnny Murtagh-trained colt should appreciate this easier task. Always to the fore when landing his initial victory, the son of Oasis Dream is well drawn to again hold a prominent early pitch. Charles Fort, who finished second to the selection on debut, has gradually improved with each outing. Hugely impressive at Cork last time, the Aidan O'Brien-trained colt has to be a contender. Sir Alfie, who could have been blessed with a kinder draw, is not without his chance on stable debut for Charles Byrnes.

Only just touched off in a stronger contest at Navan earlier this month, the Aidan O'Brien-trained CACTUS can open her account. Making much of the running on that occasion, the daughter of Wootton Bassett was only caught close home. Well drawn on this less testing track, it would be no surprise to see her lead pillar to post under her young apprentice. Having shaped with promise on his third start, handicap debutant Zarvali has to be of interest. With trainer Johnny Murtagh electing to apply first-time blinkers, the Dandy Man colt could have more to offer. Tahcawin is another who might be capable of improvement now that she races over a sprint trip for the first time.

Curragh maiden winner CASH ME could be well treated off a mark of 71. Dropped to a sprint trip for the first time, the Andy Oliver-trained filly overcame trouble in running to score tidily, despite the narrow margin. A lightly-raced three-year-old who has only had the three career starts, the daughter of Prince Of Lir is almost certainly open to improvement. While she will again need to get the gaps at the right time in this big field, if doing so, she has leading claims. Gordon Bennett is another who needs everything to fall right given his hold-up style of racing. Nicola Burns takes a valuable 7lb off his back. Recent Cork winner Asdana also has every chance.
