SUTTON HOO was well held on last month's debut, but that was a useful maiden and he should progress. Out of a winning half-sister to a Group 2 winner, he is a half-brother to four winners and finished reasonably well at Gowran. Substance ran satisfactorily on his introduction in a maiden which is working out quite well. A half-brother to two black-type performers, he now wears a tongue-tie and can progress. World Tour was reported to have been struck into when disappointing at Bellewstown, but has plenty to prove following his recent Galway run.

Five-time winner DRAGON OF MALTA has a good course record and will appreciate easy conditions. He would ideally prefer testing ground, although he did finish second on good to yielding at Gowran recently and although his latest win came here two years ago, he has finished in the first four in five of six runs at this venue. Fellow course winner Racing Royalty is in form and will like the going, but has a wide draw in 17. The three-year-old Vlhova has useful recent form and should again compete, while handicap debutant Smithfield is drawn awkwardly.

Found's son MAESTRO BERNSTEIN makes a belated debut at a country course but could make up for lost time. By Wootton Bassett, his dam won an Arc and a Breeders' Cup Turf, and she has already produced Group 2 winner Battleground. Aidan O'Brien won last year's renewal with a newcomer and Maestro Bernstein could prove too strong for his opponents. Naples has useful recent form but is vulnerable to a smart type, while Moon Reign showed ability in an ordinary Galway Festival maiden.

ANNIE'S ANGEL disappointed at Sligo last month, but has strong overall form. Defeated by recent Northfields Handicap winner Shaool in June, she then bumped into subsequent Group winner Elano Osario in July and while she now drops in distance, first-time blinkers could sharpen her up. The consistent Flying Fortress was ridden from off the pace at Galway last time and might prefer marginally further. Secret Magician ran well to claim the silver medal at Cork, while Presence has useful recent form.

BRIDEZILLA ran well at Limerick on her latest Flat start and looks interesting here after a couple of good runs over hurdles since. She was touched off over this sort of trip when last seen on the level and can race off the same mark, while easy ground will bring her stamina into play. Chica Guerrera has won on soft and readily beat the selection's Limerick conqueror at Tramore. That horse has won since and she can contend, with a useful 5lb now being claimed. Casheldale Lass is unbeaten in two handicap starts, but was twice taken out due to soft ground at Galway. Superficial handled soft when shaping well on his recent handicap debut.

GRANITE BAY chased home Clear Quartz on soft ground at Roscommon earlier this month and can turn around the form. The Time Test gelding was a three-time winner last season, when his victory over a longer trip at the Festival here was preceded by a creditable run in that same Roscommon handicap. The progressive Starford was narrowly beaten at Galway when bidding for a hat-trick. That form hasn't worked out, but he still merits plenty of respect. A creditable second at Sligo, Thatwilldoso is another who has been on an upward curve, while Soaring Monarch took this last year and has run respectably a couple of times this term.

JANNAH STAR hasn't been beaten far in any of her four starts and ran well on soft ground on debut. She drops back in trip from 1m4f and may improve for the fitting of cheekpieces. She was behind Generous Support at Galway, but the latter has been held in both outings since. Sears Crossing has the same rating as the selection and finished in front of a subsequent maiden winner when second at Roscommon. Aidan O'Brien introduces two newcomers and Wootton Bassett colt Grafton Street, out of an Oaks runner-up, appears to be the stable choice on jockey bookings ahead of Dubawi filly Infusion, whose dam was successful in the Epsom Classic.

Twice a winner on easy ground in Poland, Glady Eagle had been off over a year before finishing third at Tipperary on his first start for Willie Mullins. He steps up in trip and, with Dylan Browne McMonagle on board, looks sure to be a warm order. QUIZ TEST may prove a bit of value against him, though, after a good run to finish third at Galway. That was his best effort for some time and he ran well over C&D a couple of years ago. Plunkett Street has been running consistently over 1m4f this term. He is held by Glady Eagle on their running at Tipperary, but has a chance of minor honours.
