Steve Ryder has three tips for Tuesday's racing.

The Robert Cowell trained DEMOCRACY DILEMMA (best priced at 9/4) bounced back to form with an emphatic win at Haydock last time and should be able to follow up in this contest. The five-year-old was running in headgear for the first time since September 2023 and he put in a career best performance according to RPRs.
The fastest to 20mph in only 2.15s according to RaceIQ data last time, Democracy Dilemma should have no problem getting to the rail from Stall 4 in this small field and he can make it 2/2 at the track having won the Beverley Bullet Stakes last season.

Provided DANDY’S ANGEL (best priced at 9/2) can bounce back from a disappointing effort here on Wednesday, she should be able to record a seventh course and distance success. The John Wainwright trained eight-year-old struggled last time in a 0-70 handicap but she now drops into this 0-65 handicap and interestingly is now fitted with cheekpieces for the first time since October 2024.
Dandy’s Angel completed a hat-trick of wins in that headgear last year and her previous two victories have come off marks of 59 and 62 so she looks well handicapped off a mark of 60. She can hopefully bounce back in this easier contest off top weight.

This looks a competitive 0-85 handicap but preference goes to CLOUD KING (best priced at 11/2) who was a cosy winner last time at Chelmsford and remains unexposed on the AW. The Robert Cowell trained four-year-old has form figures of 1271 on the AW with his 7th placed finish coming off a mark of 80 when only beaten 2 ½ lengths at the finish.
Cloud King won at Chelmsford last time by ½ length off a mark of 75 and was value for more than the winning distance suggested. The handicapper has raised him 4lbs but he should run well with Kieran Shoemark taking over on board.
