Smart bumper performer CARRIGMOORNASPRUCE can make a winning start over timber. Declan Queally's charge won three times last season, wrapping up her campaign with an impressive victory in the Grade 3 mares contest at Punchestown. She is an exciting prospect for hurdling this term. Aruntothequeen, a Listed bumper winner, has jumping experience in the bag having been third over timber at Cork last November and looks like an obvious danger. Woodland Adventure is unbeaten in three outings. The summer bumpers she won may not have been as strong but she obviously commands respect, as does recent Down Royal winner Run For Mahler. Her form got a boost here on Sunday when Good Girl Kathleen made a winning start over timber.
Prediction : 1st Carrigmoornaspruce 2nd Aruntothequeen 3rd Woodland Adventure

All eyes here will be on last year's Cheltenham bumper runner-up HEADS UP on his jumping bow. The Blue Bresil gelding ran a big race at Prestbury Park in March when chasing home Bambino Fever and he should be hard to beat on his return. The Man's Room may be the one to give him most to do. Colm Murphy's charge comes here race-fit and was a solid second at Bellewstown on his last outing. He is tried in cheekpieces now. Found A Diamond shaped with promise in a couple of strong maiden hurdles last winter and ran well in a Limerick bumper when last seen in January. He could be place material now.
Prediction : 1st Heads Up 2nd The Mans Room 3rd Found A Diamond

A really competitive looking renewal and MONEY DANCER may prove the pick off a nice low weight. The Noel Meade-trained filly came good in style at Galway last time and looks on an attractive mark now on her first handicap start over timber. Shaboozee is progressive and comes here on a hat-trick. He impressed with the style of his victory at Ballinrobe last month and a strong pace here would suit him as he appears to stay well. Top-weight Puturhandstogether was sent off favourite for the Galway Hurdle but made little impression there after getting left a bit at the start. He ran well on the Flat last time and is respected with Peter Smithers taking off 7lb.
Prediction : 1st Money Dancer 2nd Shaboozee 3rd Puturhandstogether

Drying ground will suit PAUL'S DREAM. She made the breakthrough with a comfortable success at Wexford and then acquitted herself well when runner-up in a higher grade than this at Kilbeggan. Ifitwasme has two course victories to his name, including in this race last year. He has been freshened up since disappointing on the Flat at Killarney in July and a big run wouldn't be surprising. Fast Felix has Listowel form in the book and delivered in a maiden hurdle at Killarney, which brings him into contention. Fool Me Once, Targa Flavio and Wardens Whisper are others with chances.
Prediction : 1st Pauls Dream 2nd Ifitwasme 3rd Fast Felix

SHADOW PADDY will appreciate conditions and could go in again. He hit form with a vengeance in May when posting victories at Tipperary and Limerick, which saw him go off favourite for a good pot at Killarney. He finished unplaced, but that may have been down to the slower ground. He then ran creditably in fourth at Bellewstown and ought to appreciate this lower grade. Duty Bound is dangerous now returned to 2m4f as he obliged at this track in May and at Killarney in July. Jolie Jewel has been in a consistent vein of form since March without winning. Love At Sea, Positive Thinker and Malina Girl will have their supporters.
Prediction : 1st Shadow Paddy 2nd Duty Bound 3rd Jolie Jewel

MOSSY FEN PARK has gone well fresh before and could return with a victory. He was a Grade 2 runner-up over flights and was placed in beginners chases at Down Royal and Punchestown behind high-class winners towards the end of 2024. Oscars Brother was a satisfactory second on his chasing debut at Tipperary in May and the third home has since proven good enough to win decisively in Roscommon. Uncle Pat would need to jump better than he did when finishing mid-division at Galway. He is highly likely to have had plenty of schooling since then, though.
Prediction : 1st Mossy Fen Park 2nd Oscars Brother 3rd Uncle Pat

MAHON FALLS can take a step forward from a clear second on her introduction at Wexford. She's a half-sister to a four-time winner and there should be races to be won with her. Saint Clovis kept on without threatening in third on debut at Galway, which was a fair effort and puts him on the shortlist. Mister Pessimistic has to enter calculations as a winner of his sole point-to-point at Loughanmore in April. He has switched to Henry de Bromhead and is an interesting recruit. Grey Jude showed improvement on his second start to come home third at Killarney and has Derek O'Connor's assistance, while Mc Swagger shouldn't be ruled out.
Prediction : 1st Mahon Falls 2nd Saint Clovis 3rd Mister Pessimistic
