CARRIGANS GROVE has been a model of consistency since winning over 5f here in April and can strike again after beating 20 rivals in the hands of Robyn Donaghue-Leahy at the Curragh. A 5lb rise for that victory seems fair and she should be able to get a good position from a favourable draw. Denis Hogan runs three in the orange silks of James McAuley and Monday's Fairyhouse winner Ze Do Asfalto looks the pick of them under a penalty. He's drawn wide but takes his racing well and is a big player. Smoke Them Out, who is tried in new headgear, ran well over 7f on his all-weather debut and dropping back in trip should suit.

Plenty of well-bred newcomers in this maiden, but YELLOWSTONE LAKE can put her experience to good use and get off the mark on her third start. Paddy Twomey's runner had Real Encounter just over two lengths back in fourth when touched off over 6f at Leopardstown and then finished fourth to a subsequent Listed winner at the Curragh. Aidan O'Brien introduces Institute and Together Now. Both hold Group 1 entries, with the former, a daughter of Frankel, appearing the pick on jockey bookings. Prevalence showed enough at home to be entered in a Group 3, while Emmeleia came home in front in a barrier trial at Leopardstown.

PINBALL WIZARD ran well at Bellewstown last time and might be able to overcome a wide draw. A four-time winner on all-weather surfaces in Britain, he has plenty of placed form at this venue and has dropped down to a competitive mark. The Bog Bank had Famous Enough back in fourth when scoring at Gowran earlier in the month. Two of her eight career victories have come over C&D and she is likely to contend again. Ms Olivia was a good second on her penultimate start at Tipperary and, if she can transfer that form to Polytrack, is another who has to come into calculations.

SIERRA DE GREDOS had Punk Poet back in third when scoring over C&D last week and can record his fourth win of the campaign. Trainer Andy Oliver negates a 6lb rise by employing a talented claimer and this progressive type is well drawn in stall four. Punk Poet, a multiple winner over C&D, hasn't got his head in front for quite a while but has returned to form in two outings this month and should give another good account. Laytown winner Amanirenas again has the assistance of Dylan Browne McMonagle. She has been kept away from the all-weather in recent seasons, but did finish second in a maiden here at three.

MADAM CELESTE was touched off in last year's renewal and may be able to go one place better. A maiden winner on her only other outing at Dundalk, she has run well in Listed company on turf this season and backed up her victory at Gowran Park in May with another solid effort at the same venue last month. Phantom Flight had a profitable time in Bahrain during the winter and ran respectably when last seen at Royal Ascot. He's a big player. Last year's Irish Oaks winner and Yorkshire Oaks runner-up You Got To Me hasn't beaten a rival on her last two starts and has questions to answer at present.

QUICKSHOT was second over C&D on his handicap debut in the spring and won well over 1m4f here when last seen in July. He's up 10lb for that victory, but this unexposed three-year-old is open to further improvement and has the season's leading jockey on board. Benavente recorded a third course success over further last week and both his trainer and talented apprentice rider are in good form. Consistent dual-purpose performer Expound has plenty of placed form here and makes the shortlist, while top-weight Nocturnal is better than she showed from a wide draw last time and drops in grade.

CHOPSTICKS got off the mark in style when winning by five lengths at Sligo last month and the runner-up has franked that form. It was a deserved success for the five-year-old who had gone close several times previously, including at this venue, and he may be able to progress a bit more after getting his head in front. Waystar won over C&D in the spring and returned to form at Ayr last time. She gives trainer John McConnell a strong hand in this contest. Captain Hanley was beaten less than a length over this trip at Tramore and a subsequent run on the beach at Laytown may have freshened him up.
