Steadily improving three-year-old Rupert The Prince struck the woodwork over C&D last month and is respected from 1lb higher, but CORSICAN CAPER gets the vote. Kevin Frost's charge came home well to finish second in a class 2 over 1m6f at Nottingham last Thursday. He's 4lb well-in while returning to further and with Rossa Ryan booked, a bold showing looks likely. Others to note include Assured and Star Of Jupiter.
Prediction : 1st Corsican Caper 2nd Rupert The Prince 3rd Assured

Arctic Wind sets a fair standard with an official rating of 78 but a chance can be taken on VISUALLY. The Expert Eye colt has an abundance of speed in his pedigree and although lacking experience, he could go very well on debut. Baileys Ontherocks has garnered market interest on both of her racecourse appearances so far and it will be interesting to see if those supporters return.
Prediction : 1st Visually 2nd Arctic Wind 3rd Baileys Ontherocks

It looks best to side with TERM OF ENDEARMENT who, despite a slightly below-par effort in the Lillie Langtry last time, should be much more at home in these calmer waters. The admirable mare has often run well in defeat this term and while there are stamina doubts surrounding Siege Of Troy, this could be a good opportunity. Fairy Glen was only fourth in the corresponding event 12 months ago but she should not be written off, and the unbeaten Aequitas can't be overlooked either.
Prediction : 1st Term Of Endearment 2nd Fairy Glen 3rd Aequitas

Hard To Believe weakened late on at Salisbury on his debut but that was on heavy ground and he may be a different proposition on a better surface. Nicely Timed showed improvement to finish third at Ffos Las albeit more than five lengths off the winner, but the vote goes to ABUNDANT. Second on his sole start on the all-weather, he looked the sort to learn plenty from the experience and tops the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Abundant 2nd Hard To Believe 3rd Nicely Timed

White Deer ran out of steam late on when fourth on debut at Brighton, but he did have excuses after missing the start and could do better if he gets away on level terms. Pantile's Gift took a step forward when third at Wolverhampton and is not one to easily dismiss, though he may struggle to better THE WICKED WOLF. Well beaten on his Windsor debut, Jamie Osborne's colt improved when third at Chelmsford next time and any added progress could see him get off the mark.
Prediction : 1st The Wicked Wolf 2nd White Deer 3rd Pantiles Gift

Croeso Cymraeg won over this trip at Lingfield in a better race off 2lb higher in June, and he can go well if recapturing that level of form. SALIKO scored twice over this distance at Nottingham in the summer and although beaten over further a couple of times since, she could bounce back here. Magic Star makes his handicap debut in first-time cheekpieces and the market may be the best guide to his chances.
Prediction : 1st Saliko 2nd Croeso Cymraeg 3rd Magic Star

Toolatetonegotiate recorded her first career success at Lingfield last month and as long as the filly transfers that form to turf, she could have a say. However, STARPROOF bolted up over this trip at Kempton on her latest outing and an 8lb rise might underestimate her authority that day. If the daughter of Camacho is in similar form, she may prove a tough nut to crack. Silver Wraith isn't ruled out either.
Prediction : 1st Starproof 2nd Toolatetonegotiate 3rd Silver Wraith

DIAMONDSINTHESAND only found a subsequent winner too good on heavy ground at Ffos Las last month. The eight-year-old struck over C&D prior to that display and this looks like another suitable opportunity. Joy Choi finished a close third over 5f at Chepstow when last seen in May and warrants a market check on her return to action, while Little Miss Magic completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Diamondsinthesand 2nd Joy Choi 3rd Little Miss Magic
