CAPE PRIMROSE ran a nice race on her debut at Naas three weeks ago and can step forward now to open her account. The St Mark's Basilica filly was to the fore throughout then and just faded a touch late on when finishing fifth to stablemate Port Ferdinand. With the run under her belt she could prove the one to beat. Bellamano has been knocking on the door and is an obvious danger. She was well beaten in testing conditions in Listowel and better ground may help now. Joseph O'Brien saddles four and Dylan Browne McMonagle partners Green Carrera. She may improve from her initial effort at Gowran last month.
Prediction : 1st Cape Primrose 2nd Bellamano 3rd Green Carrera

KILLASHEE WARRIOR ran with plenty of credit when fourth in Listed company at Leopardstown on Irish Champions Weekend and can score now back in a maiden. The Saxon Warrior filly was only beaten four-and-a-quarter lengths behind Diamond Necklace, who landed the Marcel Boussac in France over the weekend. Duke Of Cumberland, rated 85 after three runs, is the obvious danger. He was just edged out by a head in a similar contest at Naas last time and is sure to play a big role again. Money for the Gavin Cromwell-trained newcomer Blissful Bonita would be noteworthy.
Prediction : 1st Killashee Warrior 2nd Duke Of Cumberland 3rd Blissful Bonita

The consistent SLANEY SWAGGER wouldn't be winning out of turn here. The Profitable gelding has been placed four times this season and went down by half-a-length on his latest outing at Gowran last month. Despite a 4lb rise for that effort he looks capable of landing a race of this standard. Draiocht turns out again quickly after his success at Killarney on Monday. The five-year-old held on for a half-length win and a 7lb penalty makes life tougher. Mythical Rock ran well off this mark when third at Bellewstown recently and is another for the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Slaney Swagger 2nd Draiocht 3rd Mythical Rock

NANCEE SPAIN was the subject of a significant gamble when runner-up at Roscommon last time and may be able to go one better now. She got going a bit late when chasing home Whats New then and is still open to a bit more improvement on just her fifth career outing. Tickling was a couple of lengths behind the selection last time and is 2lb better off now. She is an obvious danger. Spy has been running well over hurdles and has to be respected back on the Flat off a competitive-looking mark. The Muhaarar gelding won off marks in the 70s in England a few years back.
Prediction : 1st Nancee Spain 2nd Tickling 3rd Spy

SEARS CROSSING may be able to make the breakthrough now trying handicap company for the first time. The Sea The Stars gelding bumped into a smart newcomer in Grafton Street on his latest outing at Listowel, his third placed effort in a row. His form is solid and a mark of 82 looks fair. Angelo Pio ran a big race when trying this trip for the first time at the Curragh last time. He went up 2lb but still looks on a competitive mark. Truth Be Told was eased 2lb after finishing fourth in claiming company last time and could improve for going up in trip now.
Prediction : 1st Sears Crossing 2nd Angelo Pio 3rd Truth Be Told

SORRENTINO can gain a deserved win under Flat rules. The New Bay gelding has been running in some hot enough amateur events this year, finishing runner-up twice. He was a solid enough fourth on his most recent outing at Listowel behind a smart sort in Lark In The Mornin and a similar effort should be enough to get the job done now. Dream On Baby looks like an obvious danger. Emmet Mullins' smart hurdler has been placed on both her runs in Flat maidens and is a consistent sort. Young Churchill has a bit to find off his mark of 71 but could be place material.
Prediction : 1st Sorrentino 2nd Dream On Baby 3rd Young Churchill

GRANN'S BOY looks on a nice mark here back on the Flat. The Zoffany gelding has been progressive over hurdles this year, winning twice and going up 17lb as a result. He has slipped 3lb since last seen on the level last year and may be able to make use of that rating now. Goin' showed more when third at Down Royal 10 days ago and could be a danger. Colin Keane is a positive booking now for the Nathaniel gelding. Plunkett Street was no match for easy winner Ehteyat at Listowel last time but it was another solid effort from a consistent performer. He looks likely to be in the money again today.
Prediction : 1st Granns Boy 2nd Goin 3rd Plunkett Street
