Steve Ryder returns with his Sunday free tips, highlighting two strong fancies from Kempton and Limerick.
15:16 Kempton
Tip 1: 15:16 Kempton - Bourbali - 1 Point
All the field bar Fringill Dike are returning from breaks over 165 days but the fact that BOURBALI (best priced at 3/1) won this race last season following a similar 167 day break gives hope that he can repeat that victory. The Joe Tizzard trained eight-year-old won by a length off a mark of 127 last season and then ran with credit without winning on his remaining six starts that season.
William Hill
- Solid in-play betting service
- Cash-in option to help increase profitability
- Excellent reputation within the UK betting-industry
Bourbali runs in the race this year off a mark of 128 which is only 1lb higher than last season and he can reverse course form with Bad from a couple of occasions last season on much better terms.
16:15 Limerick
Tip 2: 16:15 Limerick - Weveallbeencaught - 0.5 Points Each Way
Eric McNamara won this race last season with Real Steel for owner Tadhg Moynihan and he runs WEVEALLBEENCAUGHT (best priced at 11/2) in the race this year. The eight-year-old won at Doncaster last season when trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies off mark of 128 by 9 ½ lengths before finishing 4th in the Kim Muir Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival off a mark of 136.
Weveallbeencaught ran well to finish 4th beaten only 4 lengths when staying on strongly over 2m6f at Listowel on his stable debut last time off this mark of 132 and he will be well suited by this step back up in trip to 3 miles here. Sean Flanagan is a good booking in these staying handicap chases and he should run well with five places widely available.
