Although a maiden in this discipline, the 134-rated Pic Roc should put his experience to good use and is feared most, ahead of Wade Out.

Although unable to justify favouritism when runner-up at Huntingdon in February, Wotter Trotter was far from disgraced. The five-year-old looked to be biding his time over hurdles and cannot be taken lightly debuting over the larger obstacles. However, stable debutant ESCAPEANDEVADE has fallen to an attractive mark and looks just the sort that could be rejuvenated by a change of scenery. Harry Derham's charge edges the vote, while Chief Sunday and Highlands Legacy aren't easily dismissed either.

There was plenty to like about Glancing Jack's winning debut at Hereford last December and he must enter calculations with Ned Fox's claim negating the majority of a 7lb penalty. However, LEGENDARY LUKE looks a smart recruit to Rules after running out a cosy winner in his sole point-to-point in Ireland. The third boosted the form when placing at the last meeting here and the Soldier Of Fortune gelding may be able to cope with this drop in trip. Newcomers Yummy and Nice One Eric are others to watch in the market.

Tom George's mare may be 4lb worse off with the runner-up from that contest, but she can uphold that form with Harry Cobden retaining the ride. Thought good enough to contest a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree in April, Getawhisky looks to have plenty of potential in the sphere and cannot be ruled out.

A highly encouraging third on her hurdles debut at Ffos Las in April, WHITE NOISE is likely to have plenty of improvement forthcoming on the back of that performance. Caterpillar Girl caught the eye when easily scoring on her Rules debut at Warwick in May and she looks like an exciting prospect, as well as newcomer Sheezer Diva, who is well-related for leading connections.

A major improver for a second wind surgery when scoring easily in a conditional jockeys' event at Carlisle last week, the handicapper is unlikely to be forgiving to KING ULANDA and this looks an excellent opportunity to back that effort up. Back to form with a highly creditable second over C&D most recently, Douglas Dc is entitled to be thereabouts again, along with Stroll On By, who is best judged on his penultimate second at Uttoxeter. Completing the shortlist are the likes of Farhh Echo, French Emperor and Lucky Bere.

Point-to-point winner Taymount is an interesting contender on handicap debut, but ORDER OF THE DANCE gets the nod. David Pipe's charge made every yard of the running in a first-time tongue-tie to score at Ffos Las on Thursday and is quickly turned out under a 7lb penalty. If in similar form, he will prove hard to beat.

Icaque de L'Isle was victorious in heavy conditions at Lingfield when last seen in February and needs considering on his return to the fray. However, PERTEMPS DIAMOND proved a different proposition stepping into the handicaps ranks when successful at Fontwell in August and is now 8lb higher. This represents just his second start for the Olly Murphy stable and he looks the way to go. Sun Joy takes a drop in grade and is another to consider.
