14;10 Catterick

Tip 1: 14:10 Catterick - Three Dons - 0.5pt Each-Way

7/1 best odds and widely available when publishing.

This looks a competitive 0-85 handicap but a chance is taken on THREE DONS (best priced at 7/1) on his return to this track.

The Tony Carroll trained six-year-old won seven times in 2024 including a course and distance victory in October last year off a mark of 76 when beating Small Fry by two lengths. That rival is now rated 13lbs higher than that day but Three Dons has gradually dropped back down the weights following four slightly below par runs in either higher graded races, faster ground or the AW.

Three Dons has now dropped back down to a mark of 76 and he should bounce back to form back on soft ground at this track.

14:58 Ffos Las

Tip 2: 14:58 Ffos Las - Rosscahill - 1pt Win

11/8 best odds and widely available when publishing.

Despite his unique galloping action, ROSSCAHILL (best priced at 11/8) won his first three career starts in impressive style and he should be well suited by this switch to fences.

The Nigel & Willy Twiston-Davies trained six-year-old was an impressive five lengths winner of a PTP before winning a maiden hurdle and novice hurdle at Ffos Las in comfortable fashion.

Rosscahill was beaten on his handicap debut in January off this mark of 120 but he will be much better suited to chasing for a stable who have started the season in good form.

Catterick 16:10

Tip 3: 16:10 Catterick - Crocodile Power - 1pt Win

11/4 best odds and widely available when publishing.

The Seb Spencer trained CROCODILE POWER (best priced at 11/4) won this race last season under similar conditions and he should prove hard to beat off the same mark. The seven-year-old is a three-time course and distance winner in his career including four more placed efforts at the track.

Crocodile Power was slightly disappointing when only 5th over 7f last time when racing too keenly in a Class 5 0-75 handicap but now drops back down in trip to 6f and into a Class 6 0-60 handicap off top weight. He looks the one to beat in a race where most of the field are struggling for recent form.
