Steve Ryder is back with three tips for Wednesday's racing action, fresh off an 11/4 winner in Wednesday's column.
Nottingham 15:47
Tip 1: 15:47 Nottingham- Rock N Roll Pinkie - 0.5pts Each-Way
10/1 best price and widely available at the time of publishing.
This looks a competitive 0-90 handicap but a chance is taken on the outsider of the field ROCK N ROLL PINKIE (best priced at 10/1). The Ivan Furtado trained five-year-old has a good record at this track with form figures of 516215132 with her latest two efforts coming this month.
Rock N Roll Pinkie finished 3rd beaten only a length in a Class 2 handicap before finishing 2nd beaten only ½ length in a Class 4 0-85 handicap last time. She pulled 4 ¾ lengths clear of the third that day so is deserving of a 3lb rise form the handicapper and she should run well.
Fakenham 16:07
Tip 2: 16:07 Fakenham - Dartmouth Rose - 1pt Win
11/8 available with bet365/Paddy/Ladbrokes when publishing. 5/4 widely available.
The Matt Crawley trained DARTMOUTH ROSE (best priced 11/8) was rewarded for her consistency last time with a victory over this course and distance and she should hold strong claims of following up off a 3lb rise.
Ladbrokes
- Wide range of markets available such as sports, virtuals, politics etc.
- Flush and fast app available on both iOS and Android
- Licensed by the UK Gambling Commission
The five-year-old has form figures of 221 at this track and won well after a 138 day break last time off a mark of 83.
Despite now switching from a novice handicap hurdle to open company, Dartmouth Rose arrives in form and should be able to follow up her recent success.
Kempton 19:30
Tip 3: 19:30 Kempton - Pride Of Donegal - 1pt Win
9/4 best price available with Ladbrokes/SpreadEx when publishing. 2/1 and 7/4 widely available.
Stall 13 is no doubt a negative for PRIDE OF DONEGAL (best priced at 9/4) but Jack Callan will have time to get over and hopefully repeat the same tactics used by his dad over this course and distance earlier this month. The Charlie Johnston trained three-year-old ran with credit on his four starts in novice/maiden races before making a winning handicap debut last time when upped in trip to 1m4f for the first time.
Pride Of Donegal remains unexposed at this trip and despite a 7lb rise and a wide draw, he looks the one to beat.
