Steve Ryder went two from three in yesterday's column, with winners at 7/2 and 7/4. Check out Friday's tips here.

Lady Milton 3/1 (1pt)
Mali Star is an interesting handicap debutant but the standard is set by LADY MILTON (best priced at 3/1) who got off the mark last time. The Jonny Portman trained filly ran with credit at big prices on her three qualifying runs before making a winning handicap debut last time at Kempton.
Lady Milton appreciated the step up in trip to a mile when staying on strongly to win by a length and a 4lb rise from the handicapper could underestimate her given the third and fourth have both won since with the latter winning by 8 ½ lengths on his next start.
7:15 Southwell
Al Arbeeb 11/2 (1pt)
This looks a competitive 0-105 handicap but a chance is taken on AL ARBEEB (best priced at 11/2) who returns to the AW following a 182 day break. The Richard Hannon trained colt was a well backed debut winner over 7f here in March before running well in two conditions races behind Pellitory and Amiloc at both Newmarket and Goodwood.
Midnite
Al Arbeeb now makes his handicap debut off a mark of 94 which could underestimate him based on his latest effort when he was a head behind the 116 rated Noble Champion and in front of the 105 rated Treble Tee off level weights.
7:45 Southwell
Tonal 1/1 (1pt)
The Ian Williams trained TONAL (best priced at 1/1) was an impressive 7 ½ length winner last time at Chelmsford and he should prove hard to beat under a 5lb penalty. The stable are in fantastic form operating at a 39% strike rate in the past fortnight and the five-year-old seemed to relish the return to the AW.
The handicapper has raised Tonal 11lbs for that victory which means he runs here 6lbs “well in” at the weights under a 5lb penalty and he should prove hard to beat if replicating that form 8 days later.
