In the frame in five of his six chases, with a win at Market Rasen, he might put his experience advantage to good use.

Jeffery's Cross didn't run too badly at Fontwell, but will need more to come out on top.

JOREBEL has enjoyed a fine autumn so far, with a trio of victories including over further at Worcester last time, and a 6lb rise doesn't appear likely to stop Chris Gordon's charge from taking another step forward. Mistress Emma shaped with some promise on both hurdle outings last season and is expected to be in the mix. Others to note are Poncho and Fourtowns.

A smooth display at Warwick was backed up under a penalty at Hereford and the switch to handicapping promises to see him in an even better light. The Secret Pearl was in front when falling at the last at Fontwell in May. She is capable of making an impact, while Sedgefield winner Captain Cool isn't one to discount.
