The six-year-old won this race by 3 ¾ lengths in 2024 off a mark of 102 before finishing runner-up at Ascot off a mark of 108.

Golden Ambition has run well over fences so far this summer in defeat but as a result has dropped back down to a mark of 105. That is only 3lbs higher than his comfortable victory in this race last season and he looks to hold strong claims in his repeat bid.

The favourite Crystal Jet has the benefit of a recent run but the selection represents the Jamie Snowden stable who won this race last season with Lady Tadita under Gavin Sheehan.

The Jamie Snowden yard have started this season in superb form operating at a 30% strike rate overall but a 48% strike rate in the past fortnight including a double at Kempton yesterday. She should prove hard to beat on her debut for these connections.
