2:20 Cheltenham

2:20 Cheltenham- Glengouly 4/1 (1pt)

This looks a competitive 0-140 handicap but preference goes to GLENGOULY (best priced at 4/1) who took a step back in the right direction last time. The nine-year-old finished 2nd in the 2024 Thyestes Chase when trained by Willie Mullins off a mark of 141 so he looks incredibly well handicapped off a mark of 121.

Glengouly had one beaten one rival home on his first four starts for Faye Bramley but bounced back to finish a close 3rd last time at Aintree when beaten less than a length overall. He runs here off only a 2lb higher mark meaning he is still incredibly well handicapped on his previous form if replicating that form when dropped to 2 miles and fitted with first-time cheekpieces.

3:30 Cheltenham- Mirabad 7/1 (1pt)
