WEST OF BALLY has shown promise in a point-to-point and a hurdle, and now drops to a winnable maiden. Runner-up at Loughrea before selling for 26,000 pounds, he disappointed in a Listowel bumper in September but didn't run badly in a smart Galway maiden hurdle last month when finishing just behind King's Bucks, who was subsequently placed at Grade 2 level. Butch Coolidge, out of top racemare Solerina, has been well beaten in two hurdles, but performed well in a smart Cork bumper in August and should progress. Grey Gardens has a useful pedigree and is open to some progression.Prediction : 1st West Of Bally 2nd Butch Coolidge 3rd Grey Gardens
13:05 Limerick
KMIL DU SEUIL was pulled up in a Grade 1 in April but is surely better than that, having finished third in a smart French AQPS maiden in June 2023. Thrown in at the deep end when struggling at Fairyhouse, her jumping was poor but she now wears a tongue-tie and should progress. Torps was third in a useful Listowel contest in September and ran well at this venue last month. He is race-fit and dependable, but is vulnerable to a smart type. Dual point-to-point winner Justatan, a 74,000-euro purchase in April 2024, returned following a 575-day layoff at Wexford last month and should improve from the run. Prediction : 1st Kmil Du Seuil 2nd Torps 3rd Justatan

CARRY ON HEIDI has been busy recently and drops in distance, but ran well in a Listed race last time. A dual point-to-point winner, she had Music Of Life six and a half lengths back in fifth in Clonmel and although 9lb worse off, she ran well at Cork subsequently and will be suited by testing ground. Doyen Magic finished behind two nicely-in rivals over fences at Clonmel and is rated 5lb lower in this sphere, so should compete. She's On Line and recent course winner Run For The Border could also figure.Prediction : 1st Carry On Heidi 2nd Doyen Magic 3rd Shes On Line

ONEFORTHEDITCH has been a model of consistency in recent months and may gain a deserved win. The seven-year-old won a point-to-point and two hurdles last year and filled the runner-up spot behind Jaadil at Cork last month. She reverts to hurdles after again finishing second behind the progressive Kobalt St Georges at Clonmel, with Finnicky Filly over four lengths behind in fourth. Lenjoleur De Palma wasn't helped by a blunder early on his first start for current connections and rates a serious threat having gone close subsequently here. Kingdom Calling and Nazine are others to consider.Prediction : 1st Onefortheditch 2nd Lenjoleur De Palma 3rd Finnicky Filly
14:35 Limerick
GAELIC DES CHASTYS has won twice since joining Eric McNamara last year, including on his penultimate start over fences at Listowel. He again shaped well over C&D last time when beating all bar Rhythmic Tune and remains on a competitive mark. Maciver handled heavy ground well when completing a four-timer earlier this year, including a hurdle and chase win at this venue. It will be interesting to see how strong he is in the market following an eight-month break, while Perfectway and Johnny Cakes are others to consider. The latter should benefit from his reappearance at Galway last month.Prediction : 1st Gaelic Des Chastys 2nd Maciver 3rd Johnny Cakes
15:05 Limerick
SALLAP won over an extended 2m6f at Clonmel last month and could be coming here in search of a hat-trick only for a fall at the last when leading at Thurles. The Sam Curling-trained mare has scope for further improvement off her lowly mark and may now have most to fear from Barryroe Madam, who won over a similar trip at Listowel earlier this year. She was given plenty to do when narrowly beaten by Grace Faraday at Galway last time, with Queen Kulina close up in fourth. Hees Dynamite won twice over hurdles here last year and now reverts to the smaller obstacles after scoring twice over fences, while Chasing Crowns is another for the shortlist.Prediction : 1st Sallap 2nd Barryroe Madam 3rd Hees Dynamite
15:35 Limerick
MOSSY WAY beat all bar the smart Koktail Brut on debut at Fairyhouse and again advertised his claims when fourth behind Le Labo in a Thurles bumper that has produced a list of subsequent winners. Tip Of The Wings is an obvious threat having won a point-to-point in decisive fashion at Daramona House in March and was sold the following month at Aintree for 95,000 pounds. Lord Lackendarra has plenty of experience and showed some promise on a number of occasions, including when third at Tramore this summer.Prediction : 1st Mossy Way 2nd Tip Of The Wings 3rd Lord Lackendarra
