A deceptively trappy affair, with three of the four arriving in winning form and the other finishing second last time out. GALILEO ISLAND has become something of a punters' pal, justifying favouritism at Chelmsford and Epsom, and if he takes to the Tapeta, he can complete his hat-trick. Aleen's only previous visit to Southwell resulted in a costly defeat, whereas Capall Rasa took a big step forward when getting off the mark here and he should appreciate the extra furlong.
Prediction : 1st Galileo Island 2nd Capall Rasa 3rd Aleen

Reputation proved there is plenty of life left in him when getting up at Wolverhampton, although he has never won over a mile. Marry The Night and Francesi have hit the crossbar on their last two starts, while Coloane occupied that position over C&D recently, but the vote goes to HASHTAGNOTIONS. Richard Fahey's three-year-old has been consistent from August onwards and having been collared over 1m2f at Redcar last time, can show his appreciation for the drop in trip.
Prediction : 1st Hashtagnotions 2nd Marry The Night 3rd Francesi

Heretic saves his best for this circuit and backed up a C&D win back over track and trip a week later. The runner-up got much closer to him than she did before, though, so maybe a further 3lb rise will find him out and AMBER HONEY is preferred. Ed Dunlop's filly didn't settle over the extended mile at Wolverhampton, but she had been in consistent form prior and can register a deserved success. Harswell Duke's all-weather record isn't great, but he finished second here from 7lb higher back in May.
Prediction : 1st Amber Honey 2nd Heretic 3rd Harswell Duke

OATHBOUND looked in need of the experience when debuting in fifth at Newbury and he makes plenty of appeal dropping in class. The son of Kameko is not expected to have any issues with Tapeta and rates as the one to beat. Tewkesbury is closely related to smart stablemate Telemark and market support on his opening bid must be noted. Fellow newcomer Ensor Mews cannot be ruled out either.
Prediction : 1st Oathbound 2nd Tewkesbury 3rd Ensor Mews

Although SOLVENCY finished last for Aidan Melia at Dundalk, he could prove just the sort James Owen excels with. The three-year-old son of Ardad was progressive when in the hands of Alice Haynes during the latter part of 2024 and an official rating of 79 looks exploitable. Fellow stable debutant No Return is also high on the shortlist, along with the hat-trick seeking Ararat.
Prediction : 1st Solvency 2nd No Return 3rd Ararat

The hat-trick seeking New York Minute merits respect after bolting up over C&D, but a 12lb hike in the handicap may prove excessive. With that in mind, Joey Ramsden's stable debutant may be worth taking on and BERKSHIRE SUNDANCE could be the way to go. The five-year-old is only 4lb higher than for his latest triumph in a 16-runner affair at York and looks progressive. Reopposing second Ribble Vibe is feared most.
Prediction : 1st Berkshire Sundance 2nd Ribble Vibe 3rd New York Minute

SAXON PRINCE looked all at sea on his racecourse bow, so it was to his credit that he was able to keep on into third behind a couple of Ollie Sangster inmates. The winner could be very smart and there wouldn't appear to be anything of a similar calibre lining up here, so he should go close granted natural improvement. Marcellinus has finished third on both starts and looks likely to benefit from a drop in trip. Market support for Hardstyle or Harmonised will need to be taken seriously.
Prediction : 1st Saxon Prince 2nd Marcellinus 3rd Hardstyle

Young Endless (winner) and Fashionelle (second) renew their rivalry having squared off over the extended 2m here recently. The pair are unlikely to be separated by much again, but a confident vote goes to NUNC EST BIBENDUM. The daughter of Masar posted her finest effort for the yard when third over C&D three weeks ago, despite being short of room on several occasions. Hector Crouch is an interesting jockey booking and she remains open to a bit more improvement. Mio Amico is worth a second look too.
Prediction : 1st Nunc Est Bibendum 2nd Young Endless 3rd Fashionelle

LITTLE MISS INDIA hasn't been in the care of James Owen for all that long, but has a win and two second-placed efforts to her name since making the move. She lost little in defeat when beaten by an in-form rival last time and looks to have been found a good opportunity. Appier relished a return to the all-weather when on target at Wolverhampton, and don't rule out the selection's stablemate Cannon Rock, who has plummeted down the weights.
Prediction : 1st Little Miss India 2nd Appier 3rd Cannon Rock
