He gets a confident vote ahead of Himself, who showed a lot more here last time out when finishing third. Of the others, C&D winner Flying Scotsman might represent a bit of each-way value, likewise Duchess.

BREAK POINT had been in good nick over hurdles prior to his Wolverhampton second last month in this sphere. Olly Murphy's charge is taken to continue that good form here and get the better of Wadacre Giorgio, who put in a much-improved display last time out when third at Southwell. MADEMOISELLE BELLE looks the way to go in this nursery as she produced arguably her best effort so far when third at Beverley last time in novice company. Perhaps she's getting the hang of things now and she makes more appeal than Brave Traveller, who boasts some decent form and could be well treated on his handicap debut. Noelies Dream is best of the rest.

HALLO SPACEBOY confirmed the promise of his debut third at York when filling second place over 6f at Newmarket late last month. That form suggests that Ed Walker's colt could be hard to beat here, although North West Gal has a similar profile and was only beaten a nose at Catterick a month ago. The rest do not inspire much confidence, but any market support for Flowerpot would have to be noted.

MR NIPPY was well held when second over C&D at the beginning of the month but that was still a promising effort. Off a 1lb lower mark, Charlie Johnston's colt just gets the vote ahead of Lope Harswell, who was only beaten a couple of lengths when fourth here last time. Others to note are Ciao Capo and Lope Y Linda.

MONTEZIN has had a couple of attempts here and at Wolverhampton, finishing second on both occasions, and he knows enough about the game now to strike. Shamacid and Hostility are no strangers to finishing second either, but they are more exposed than the selection so Antony Brittain's charge might have that bit more scope for improvement. Keep an eye on Raveena too.

Look no further than SECOND FIDDLE. This admirable mare comes here chasing a six-timer and has really thrived over the track and trip in recent months. She might not be done progressing just yet on the evidence of her latest three-length success and it could be more of the same here. The dangers are Electric Avenue and Angel Of Rain.

FINN IRONSIDE landed the second leg of a double when making all over C&D in August and another bold bid looks on the cards if allowed his own way in front once again. Judgment Call has yet to win on the all-weather but went close here in September and is not out of it, while Blufferonthebus returns to the Tapeta in fine fettle having scored at Musselburgh at the start of the month.

YAFAARR is holding his form well and finished a creditable second over 7f here last time. A winner over C&D prior to that, Sam England's charge looks worthy of another chance. Studious is well treated on his winning form on the all-weather and could bounce back, while Emery Down has a bit to prove over this distance but a good effort over 7f here recently offered something to work on.
