STAR STREWN was the subject of strong support on debut over C&D earlier this month and shaped well when a creditable fourth behind Prevalence. The daughter of Starman should benefit from the experience and gets the vote to regain those losses. Boston Benjamin stepped forward from his introduction when fourth behind Madbadanddangerous at Naas and rates a threat along with Mahi Mahi and Arcabulle. The latter should appreciate this step up in distance after keeping on well over 6f on debut, while Flanker Jet made a bright start at the Curragh but hasn't progressed in two outings since.
Prediction : 1st Star Strewn 2nd Boston Benjamin 3rd Arcabulle

FLEETFOOTSOLDIER won three times back in 2023 and has returned to form recently, scoring over C&D for Natalia Lupini before getting up in the closing stages to deny Una Matata over 7f last week. He should be well served by this step back up to a mile and can confirm the places on these revised terms. Sakakawea was over four lengths back in fourth and Colin Keane again takes the mount, while Camachero has dropped down to an attractive mark and wasn't disgraced here last time. Hale Bopp and Reponse Finale are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Fleetfootsoldier 2nd Una Matata 3rd Camachero

BALLYMAGREEHAN hails from a yard in good form and opened his account over C&D back in July. He has been placed on both outings since, including when reappearing after a near three-month break to beat all bar Johnny's Oasis, with a number of these rivals behind. Bamako was unlucky in running when runner-up twice over 7f earlier this year, including when awarded the race in the stewards' room at Down Royal, only for that verdict to overturned on appeal. Manhattan Dandy has been running well on testing ground, but has also been placed at this venue.
Prediction : 1st Ballymagreehan 2nd Bamako 3rd Manhattan Dandy

ALTIMARA won twice over 7f at Leopardstown this summer and has continued to progress when placed on both outings since, including when third behind Glyndwr (won again since) over C&D. The Ross O'Sullivan-trained filly had Giuseppe Cassioli nearly two lengths behind in fifth and also holds Far From Dandy on that run. Miss Nifty gained both previous wins on a sound surface and has shaped well recently with plenty of cut at the Curragh. She didn't show much in three outings on the all-weather in the UK last year so it will be interesting to see how she fares here. Skippinandajumpin and No More Porter are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Altimara 2nd Miss Nifty 3rd Skippinandajumpin

LITTLE QUEENIE had Sir Les Patterson back in fourth when just denied by Barbapapa over C&D and gets the vote to record an eighth career win and fifth at this venue, with Colin Keane a significant booking. Big Gossey and Sir Les Patterson filled the minor placings in the valuable Bold Lad Handicap at the Curragh on Champions Weekend, while Valiant Force won at Royal Ascot as a juvenile and remains a classy sort, winning over 5f here last month. Dontspoilasale impressed when beating Sporting Hero over C&D and then probably found 7f too far behind Little Empire here last Friday.
Prediction : 1st Little Queenie 2nd Valiant Force 3rd Dontspoilasale

NUSRA gained a third career win when successful over C&D last year and put together a series of consistent placed efforts here earlier this year. She made a promising reappearance over hurdles at Thurles last month and Julian Pietropaolo's 7lb claim helps to reduce the top-weight's burden. Someone's Wish won twice on the all-weather in the UK and has scored both over hurdles and fences for current connections. He finished well over an extended 1m2f here last week and rates a threat if staying this trip. Is She Now advertised her claims when finishing well into fourth over 1m6f at Navan last month.
Prediction : 1st Nusra 2nd Someones Wish 3rd Is She Now

BALLYADAM is a Grade 1 winner over hurdles and now makes his debut on the Flat at the age of 10. That top-level victory came five years ago in the Royal Bond, but he still retains plenty of ability having filled third spot last time off a mark of 151 in the Coral Cup at the Cheltenham Festival. El Galvino had a couple of these rivals well behind when third behind Etawa over an extended 1m2f here last month, while Icare Desbois' three wins for Willie Mullins included a charity race over this trip at the Curragh last year. Silent Guardian and Cinammon Coco are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Ballyadam 2nd El Galvino 3rd Silent Guardian

17:20 Dundalk

CALA BONITA has progressed well since winning at Gowran in May and recorded a further two victories over an extended 1m2f at this venue. She beat Drucker by just over a length last month and has good claims of completing a course hat-trick if seeing out this trip. Inchiquin Maid won over 2m for Chris Timmons here last winter and now reverts to the Flat following a couple of outings over hurdles for Terence O'Brien. Castleheath and Tatateo are others to consider, while Migdam was just denied over 2m at Thurles last month, but is 10lb higher here.
Prediction : 1st Cala Bonita 2nd Inchiquin Maid 3rd Castleheath
