This is an extremely competitive edition of the Coral Gold Cup, and HYLAND is one I’m siding with. Nicky Henderson’s charge appears to have been laid out for this event and will be fitter from his comeback run at Cheltenham last month.
His second to The Jukebox Man in a Grade 1 at Kempton last December is high-class form, and he has a massive weight pull with Resplendent Grey, who he beat at Cheltenham on worse terms.
If the ground doesn’t become too soft, the eight-year-old should have a major say. Five places are widely available.

BLIZZARD OF OZ could make a serious impact for Willie Mullins. He has steadily progressed over fences and did well to beat a tough stayer in Rocky’s Diamond at Wexford last time out.
The seven-year-old is 6lb higher on British soil, but remains totally unexposed and has more to come over three miles plus. With form on a wide range of surfaces and a large-field race, this could suit him perfectly.
With most firms paying five places, a new personal best could be on the cards.
