Lumi Plugin has every chance if ready to roll following a 236-day absence, while it's also worth keeping a close eye on Just Over Land.

Pyleigh Master ended his last campaign on a positive note winning a Ffos Las maiden and could go well here if ready to roll on his return. However, it could pay to side with the race-fit GETALEAD, who certainly wasn't disgraced when fourth at Kempton 12 days ago. Queens Venture and C&D winner Idefix De Ciergues are others to take seriously.

The aptly-named AWORKINPROGRESS clearly benefited from a patient approach over hurdles with Nick Gifford's charge unbeaten in five starts over fences. The six-year-old made a winning return at Lingfield last month and victory here would seal his position near the head of the market for the Welsh National at the end of the month. Makin'yourmindup was last seen in March 2024 and is respected following a wind operation, while Minella Blueway is capable of leaving behind his Cheltenham effort in October.

ALAN DE BANKS shaped with promise on all three starts last season and is expected to benefit from the switch to fences coming from the family of Grade 1-winning chaser Joncol. Elysian Knight is another chasing debutant expected to be in the mix after winning twice over hurdles, while Willmount was right in contention when falling on his first attempt over the larger obstacles at Ffos Las. If showing no ill-effects, the seven-year-old is more than capable of a decent showing.

MODERN MAN won an Irish point-to-point last December and is entitled to have come forward for his Rules debut here in a maiden hurdle last month. A decent third on that occasion, he can only improve and is in the right hands to progress. There are a couple of interesting debutants going to post, though, and it will be worth keeping an eye on the market when it comes to Grand Vendetta and Brisky Dancer.

Dan Skelton has introduced a few smart types already this season and Presley must be taken seriously given the yard is in such good form.
