OLE OLE has shown promise in two runs to date. Placed third in a Clairefontainte hurdle last July, that form was boosted by the winner subsequently finishing second at Grade 2 level. The selection again ran well at Punchestown and he is suited by testing ground. Manoir De Mirande scored on debut in an AQPS bumper last April and has to enter calculations on his first start for Gordon Elliott. Flat-bred Kizlyar landed a Compiegne maiden in June and completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Ole Ole 2nd Manoir De Mirande 3rd Kizlyar

RIVER VALE has recent form and might be suited by reverting back to this distance, having finished third in a similar race last month. Lightly raced, the selection's best form is admittedly on a sound surface but he ran well on heavy at Fairyhouse last month, when caught in the closing stages. Veteran Halsafari, out of top mare Solerina, defeated a nicely-in winner here last month and can be competitive off 6lb higher. Capable chaser Happy Dreams scored easily over hurdles last month and is respected.
Prediction : 1st River Vale 2nd Halsafari 3rd Happy Dreams

DANI DONADONI might get off the mark on jumps debut if coping with softer ground than what he has previously encountered. A seven-length winner on debut, he finished fourth in a smart race at the Punchestown Festival in May. That race's runner-up was subsequently sold for 410,000 pounds, while the recent Royal Bond winner Koktail Brut was behind him in fifth. Lord Rouge has form on heavy ground, having run well in a Punchestown point-to-point in February. A half-brother to Grade 3 winner Gin On Lime, he has joined top connections and could be smart. The selection's stablemate Mahon Falls has reasonable recent form.
Prediction : 1st Dani Donadoni 2nd Lord Rouge 3rd Mahon Falls

Well-bred LE LABO encounters testing ground for the first time but showed smart form in winning on debut last March. Out of a half-sister to Champion Hurdle winner Binocular, the selection defeated many subsequent winners when scoring at Thurles last season. He disappointed at Aintree subsequently and was short of room when exiting at the opening flight on his recent jumps debut at Thurles, but was well supported on that occasion and remains promising. Lumiere Du Large was outclassed in both the Triumph Hurdle and at Punchestown last spring and while she had previously shown ability in France, looks vulnerable to smart performers and wears a hood. Splendid Fellow has fair form.
Prediction : 1st Le Labo 2nd Lumiere Du Large 3rd Splendid Fellow

Grade 1 winner KARGESE can make a winning start over fences here. Willie Mullins' mare was last seen running a big race to finish third behind star stablemate State Man in top level company at Punchestown in early May. She won the County Hurdle prior to that at Cheltenham and is pitched straight into Graded company now on her chase debut. Old rival Kala Conti bounced back to winning ways on her chase debut here a fortnight ago and that experience is a plus. She could be the danger. Break My Soul and Jalila Moriviere were also good winners first time out over fences and have to come into calculations in a good race.
Prediction : 1st Kargese 2nd Kala Conti 3rd Break My Soul

KALYPSO'CHANCE looks the one to beat here, despite having to give weight away to his rivals. The Masked Marvel gelding stepped forward from his hurdling debut to post a convincing success in the Monksfield Novice Hurdle at Navan three weeks ago and there could be more to come from him stepping up in trip again now. The mares in the race get almost a stone from the selection and Good Girl Kathleen could be the danger. She ran well when chasing home the progressive Tackletommywoowoo here early last month. Quantum Quest is more experienced than most and is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Kalypsochance 2nd Good Girl Kathleen 3rd Quantum Quest

All eyes will be on MAJBOROUGH as he takes his first step into open company. His jumping let him down in last season's Arkle, but the five-year-old bounced back in some style at Punchestown. He has long been very highly regarded and can lay down a marker now in the 2m division. Found A Fifty comes here off the back of a good win in the Fortria Chase at Navan and could be the one to give him most to do. The admirable Banbridge is versatile trip-wise but probably wants further to be seen at his best, while Energumene has won this three times but isn't getting any younger.
Prediction : 1st Majborough 2nd Found A Fifty 3rd Banbridge

MIDWEEK VOICES looks nicely treated here back over hurdles. The Eoin Doyle-trained gelding won twice over fences early in the year and rose 15lb as a result. He's yet to win over timber but this looks like a nice opportunity in this grade, with Paddy Cody taking 7lb off his back. Theanniversary Man was a good winner at Thurles 10 days ago and could play a big part again, despite a 6lb rise. Recent point-to-point winner Connemara Shore is another one to note on her return to the racecourse now.
Prediction : 1st Midweek Voices 2nd Theanniversary Man 3rd Connemara Shore
