Zipwire has been knocking on the door and cannot be discounted, while Angelic Rascal should also be bang there at the business end.

There are a couple of interesting debutants going to post for this maiden and the market should tell us more in regards to the chances of Coral Cathedral and Sassicaia. Experience can win the day, though, and TEWKESBURY can improve from an encouraging debut performance at Southwell last month. Fourth that day and beaten just two lengths, the gelding might just have the edge.

MERSEA ISLAND is the one to be on. The penny seems to have dropped as he won as he liked at Southwell before following up with a creditable second, beaten just a head, over C&D last time. With the promise of more to come, Charlie Johnston's charge is taken to prove too strong for Moon Sniper and C&D winner Palace Boy.

SIDE DEAL shaped with plenty of encouragement when filling the runner-up spot on his racecourse bow at York in May before subsequently disappointing at Nottingham the following month. Returning from six months off the track, a repeat of his first effort would likely suffice. Yes Waliim placed at Southwell in July and is respected following a gelding operation, while Horace Wallace is entitled to step forward from his Newcastle debut.

AL KARRAR returned from just over three years off the track when finishing a more than respectable third in a Yarmouth handicap in September. The formerly smart juvenile displayed enough to suggest he retains a fair level of ability and has been given enough time to recover from that effort. Purest Time drops in grade after finishing second to a progressive type in a valuable York handicap. Papa Cocktail is noted too.

BLUEBELLS BOY has been knocking on the door at Lingfield on his last couple of starts and the six-year-old has every chance of getting back to winning ways. Zoulu Warrior was never in contention after missing the break at Lingfield last time but his efforts prior to that, including over C&D the time before, give him a chance. Others to note are Sioux Warrior, who should appreciate a drop back to 6f, and Buraback.

Combustion was really progressive in classified stakes/handicap company earlier in the year and is very much respected. He does have an absence to overcome, though, and perhaps TWILIGHT MADNESS is the safer play as he scored at Lingfield last week and the quick turnaround under a penalty suggests he's come out of that race well. Clover Time is noted too.

SUB THIRTEEN comes in here on the back of a win and a second-placed effort and will likely go close in what isn't a particularly strong handicap. Peregrine Falcon tries a first-time hood in the hope she'll be able to turn a creditable effort in defeat into a win. Good Earth is another who might represent a bit of each-way value.

There are three C&D winners in here and PENELOPE VALENTINE is one of them. She was back to form when scoring narrowly at Lingfield last month and might be worth sticking with while she's evidently on good terms with herself. Noisy Music was a beaten favourite last time but cannot be given up on, while Minshaar also makes some appeal.
