HEAVEN'S WISH was probably unsuited by heavy ground when disappointing at Gowran back in April but has filled the runner-up spot on both outings since reappearing here over 6f. The daughter of Magna Grecia has shown plenty of pace including behind Ballintogher last month, with Woolridge nearly five lengths away in fourth, and the booking of Colin Keane adds to confidence. Woolridge reportedly got upset in the stalls on that occasion and previously went close over C&D, while Astute Power merits respect too.Prediction : 1st Heavens Wish 2nd Woolridge 3rd Astute Power
15:45 Dundalk
LOYAL TOUCH won five times on varying ground conditions including twice on the all-weather for Charlie Johnston before joining current connections for just 5,000 guineas this summer. The son of No Nay Never has yet to win beyond 1m2f but has run with credit over this trip and should prove difficult to beat if anywhere near his rating of 86. Denis Hogan is mob-handed with four runners and Benavente, Porsche Lad and Fleetfootsoldier have all enjoyed success at this venue. The market should provide some important clues to their relative merits, while Theophilos holds each-way claims.Prediction : 1st Loyal Touch 2nd Porsche Lad 3rd Benavente
16:15 Dundalk
LIMESTONE RED gained his only previous victory over this C&D just over two years ago and there are strong grounds for believing the Tracey Collins-trained gelding can score again here. The five-year-old has advertised his claims since returning to the Polytrack and beat all bar Brandon Creek last month, with Rising Sky not enjoying the clearest of passages over two lengths back in seventh. The form of that race has been working out well since and Nicola Burns is again aboard. Heart Of Darkness has been staying on over a mile and now steps up in trip, while Slaney Swagger is another to consider.Prediction : 1st Limestone Red 2nd Heart Of Darkness 3rd Slaney Swagger
16:45 Dundalk
SPY has been generally consistent under both codes this year and landed a valuable handicap hurdle at Killarney in August. The Charles Byrnes-trained gelding was placed over 1m4f here last month and may be suited by this slight drop back in distance with Billy Lee also an interesting booking. Mapa rates an obvious threat after making an encouraging start on the Polytrack when runner-up to Nibras Rainbow last month, while Marians Gal has been raised 10lb after a decisive C&D win with Colugo over four lengths back in third and Aingeal Dorcha fourth.Prediction : 1st Spy 2nd Mapa 3rd Marians Gal
17:15 Dundalk
GUARDIAN OF REALM has shown plenty of promise when placed on both starts at this venue. The Ger Lyons-trained filly finished well on debut over 7f, and was backed as if defeat was out of the question when runner-up to Sky Watch over C&D last month with Glitter And Glory over a length back in third and Moon Vega fifth. Indomiknow was far from disgraced on debut here last month and should appreciate this step up to a mile, while Blissful Bonita also made a bright start at Thurles. Satisfy My Soul and Mo Mhuirin are two newcomers to keep an eye on for market moves.Prediction : 1st Guardian Of Realm 2nd Glitter And Glory 3rd Indomiknow
17:45 Dundalk
Royal County Glory and KC BEAR were separated by just half a length when filling the places behind Beau Army over C&D recently. Noel Meade's charge was having his first run in a handicap and didn't enjoy a clear passage early in the straight so further progress can be expected, and the booking of Colin Keane is a bonus. The Right One has shown plenty of pace in maidens and it will be interesting to see how she fares on handicap debut, while there should be little to choose between Coincidental Glory and Pivotal Terms after the pair were placed in a 7f claimer here last month. Plushy and Battleforsupremacy are others to consider.Prediction : 1st Kc Bear 2nd Royal County Glory 3rd The Right One
18:15 Dundalk
WATCH TOWER has progressed with each start and went close when beaten only a neck over C&D last month. The son of Starspangledbanner is taken to show further improvement and confirm running with Thirsty Owl, who made a promising debut two lengths behind the selection in fourth. Golden Trigger is another to consider in a competitive maiden, while any market support for newcomers Chirac, Goldinthesea and Peachy Canyon would be interesting.Prediction : 1st Watch Tower 2nd Thirsty Owl 3rd Golden Trigger
18:45 Dundalk
BAMAKO was awarded a 7f Down Royal handicap in the stewards room back in June before losing the race on appeal and was then absent until reappearing here a fortnight ago when a creditable fifth over a mile. The Andy Oliver-trained gelding finished just over a length behind the consistent Ballymagreehan but can be expected to progress from that run and should be suited by the drop back to this trip. Drafted has gained all three wins over this distance and remains on a competitive mark following a C&D success, while Jazzy Dancer and Beat The Devil are others to consider.Prediction : 1st Bamako 2nd Ballymagreehan 3rd Drafted
