Secret Beach and Contacto are interesting Flat recruits and must be taken seriously, but the main danger to the selection is Loustic Du Chatel, an impressive bumper winner at Ascot on his debut.

KRIPTICJIM left a lasting impression when winning at Ascot last time out. He wasn't stopping at the line over 2m3f that day, so it's quite possible that he could improve again for this extra yardage. Daydream Nation won an Irish point-to-point before bolting up on his Rules bow at Gowran Park and is very much a player in here. Starzand has won a point, a bumper and a maiden hurdle, so he also commands respect.

A trappy contest, not least because most of these arrive in good form, so only a tentative vote goes to LOOKAWAY. The useful hurdler is one from two over fences and the defeat came in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham, so he might have more to offer at this level. Mighty Bandit and Highlands Legacy are open to further improvement too and both could mount a serious challenge, as might the consistent Torneo.
