13:38 Musselburgh
1:38 MUSSELBURGH – GEMINI MAN – 0.5pt EW
Best odds of 5/1 available at time of publishing.
The Iain Jardine trained GEMINI MAN (best priced at 5/1) took a step back in the right direction over this course and distance last time and should run well once again at this track. The seven-year-old placed on both of his starts in maiden hurdles at this course after which he was given an opening mark of 100 over hurdles.
Gemini Man was a comfortable winner at Hexham in August off a mark of 93 before placing at Perth on his next start off 98. He ran well in Class 4 company last time off this mark and should run well dropped into this 0-105 handicap.

14:00 Lingfield
2:00 LINGFIELD – GLOBAL WARMING – 0.5pt EW
Best odds of 10/3 available at time of publishing.
This looks a competitive 0-55 handicap but the drop in grade should suit GLOBAL WARNING (best priced at 10/3). The John Butler trained nine-year-old won over this course and distance a year ago off a mark of 60 before finishing a close 3rd on his next start off a mark of 62. He was below form on his next few starts but as a result has dropped down to a career low mark of 55.
This is the first time Global Warning has raced in 0-55 handicap company in his career and he should run well if ready to go after 269 days off the track.
15:08 Musselburgh
3:08 MUSSELBURGH – HAWTHORN ROAD – 1pt WIN
Best odds of 13/8 available at time of publishing.
Iain Jardine has a good record in bumpers with an 18% strike rate in the past five seasons but more interestingly a 50% strike rate (2-4) since April. The stable run HAWTHORN ROAD (best priced at 13/8) here on his debut who has a nice pedigree on paper.
This doesn’t look the strongest of bumpers and Hawthorn Road is expected to make a winning debut.
