CUBAN COURT made a winning debut over fences when scoring at Doncaster last month. Less than fluent on that occasion, Neil King's charge will have learnt plenty from the experience and a 3lb rise is not insurmountable. Officer Of State faced a tough task at Lingfield on his chasing debut, but he returns to handicap company with a shout and looks the main threat, ahead of Presenting A Queen and Quantock Hills.

INTOSOMETHINGGOOD has already won three times over hurdles and looks capable of adding to his tally on these terms. A 10lb penalty is halved by Toby McCain-Mitchell's allowance, and a repeat of his solid fourth in Grade 2 company at Cheltenham last month would make the five-year-old hard to beat. There looks more to come from the recent C&D winner The Boss Bear, while Catchintsavo could also shape well.

Bottom-weight Avada Kedavra is the sole C&D winner in the field and commands respect, but an 11lb hike for his latest success looks harsh and that might open the door for AMERICAN SNIPER. The seven-year-old put in a bold display when second over 2m3f at Taunton and the handicapper may have been kind to only put him up 1lb. If David Pipe's gelding can back that effort up, he could be the one to beat. The in-form Turndlightsdownlow is another to note.

Enjoy D'allen won at Fakenham recently and now competes off a 5lb higher mark but, based on old form, he has every chance of defying that rise. Even so, KEN ROY looks the way to go. Paul Nicholls' inmate finished third when upped to an extended 3m3f at Fontwell in November, shaping as if this extra furlong would suit. This is just his third chase start and he looks the one to be on. Of the remainder, Invincible Nao makes the most appeal.

Winning course form is a positive here, and although ATREIDES unseated in the hunt for a hat-trick at Wincanton, he did win over course and distance in early December. Off 8lb higher now, he needs a career best but he may have more to offer. Godot is also a C&D winner after winning this last year and he is a huge danger off the same mark, while Icare Grandchamp can also go well if he puts in a clear round.

Birthday Angel was not disgraced when fifth last time in a better race at Wincanton and he can go well despite topweight, as can Getmetothemoon. However, POSTPONED LEGACY is difficult to oppose after winning by an eased down seven and a half lengths at Uttoxeter on Wednesday. A 7lb penalty seems more than reasonable given the impression he created that day.
